Produced by award winning songwriter and producer Dan Swinimer (Madeline Merlo, Tyler Joe Miller, Billy Currington), the track highlights honky tonk riffs, small-town stories and Elyse’s fiery vocals. Catching industry buzz ahead of its release, “Dirt” was selected as a top 10 Country finalist for Nashville’s NSAI competition, selected as Amazon Music’s faceout artist for their “Breakthrough Country” playlist and was highlighted in the May edition of Holler Country Magazine’s “Best New Country” amongst music releases by Megan Moroney, Shaboozey and Jackson Dean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“While the song sings about small town rumours, the grass being greener and white picket fences, it’s also about relating to each other and realizing that we’re all going through stuff,” says Saunders. “I wanted to bring light to the topic in a somewhat comical style of songwriting, with a message that connects to all of us.
