SINGER\/SONGWRITER CAITLYN SHADBOLT RELEASES NEW SINGLE, HOMEMADE HONEY<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aussie country singer\/songwriter, Caitlyn Shadbolt, releases her new single, “Homemade Honey”. An accomplished songwriter, Caitlyn penned the track with the equally prolific, Gavin Carfoot, who also co-produced the track. This is the follow up to her most recent single, “Where The Lemons Grow”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Set to perform at this year’s Gympie Muster, Caitlyn describes the inspiration behind the song:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“There’s a different kinda quality in ‘homemade’. Your mum’s cooking, the playground your dad built you as a kid, the veggies you grow, the eggs you collect – you get the picture. In a world that is full of fast food and flat pack furniture, it’s nice to bring it home and focus on the good quality, long lasting stuff – made with love! This song was also tracked at my home studio (yep it was homemade) with some of my favourite good quality humans”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caitlyn Shadbolt is an Australian contemporary country artist and songwriter. A finalist in the sixth season of The ‘X Factor’ Australia (2014), Caitlyn secured a recording deal with ABC MUSIC and released her debut album, Songs On My Sleeve (May 2017). Upon release, the album hit #1 on the ARIA Country Album chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first single, ‘My Break Up Anthem’, held the #1 National Country Airplay Chart for over 8 consecutive weeks and became the 2nd most played song on Country Radio (held out of the top spot by Sam Hunt’s monster hit ‘Body Like A Backroad’).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Caitlyn was recognised for her achievements by winning the CMC Award for Best New Artist, along with a nomination for Female Artist of the Year.
