“I wrote this in the aftermath of one of those situationships that truly messes with your head. The kind where they reel you in just to push you away again. I knew I didn’t want them back, but couldn’t help wondering why I was still so wrecked. This song was me being brutally honest about the emotional whiplash and saying, ‘Yeah, this sucks.
