Sarah and I found ourselves woven in an immediately connected friendship by a love of song-writing, of invention, of catastrophe and repair, of everything that makes you dream big and yet enjoy the simple humanities we are afforded in life. Quickly it was apparent that we were to isolate in a studio together and in those days, countless songs were created. In the midst of the chaos, this beautiful little song revealed itself and we were both immediately hooked. It was about 2am in the morning, parked outside a McDonald\u2019s in the middle of nowhere. Channelling the heartbreak of the song, a week of gigs, no sleep and a fair amount of whisky consumed over the festival apparently was the perfect cocktail as it\u2019s my favourite vocal I\u2019ve ever recorded\u201d.\u000f\u000fKINGSWOOD hit #1 on the ARIA Australian Country chart with their new album, Midnight Mavericks.
