In 1960 Grand Ole Opry Star Ferlin Husky released a song pinned by Bob Ferguson called “Wings of a Dove”. This song was No 1 for 10 nonconsecutive weeks on the country charts. Fast forward 60 years the brothers of the Flat River Band are sitting around the garage reminiscing and hearing their Grandpa Sitze sing that old song. It only made sense to write a song about a dove in remembrance of their childhood days playing music with their grandpa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
