It’s a town – one built on rebellion, redemption and the reckless pursuit of freedom, where 13 songs reveal 13 locations and 13 lessons through the stories of three unforgettable women: Faith, Hope and Charity, better known as The Trinity of Trouble.

Every backroad holds a secret, every saloon has a story, and every lesson comes at a price. Across the album, the trio move through heartbreak, chaos, friendship and freedom, with each song revealing another piece of Fox Hollow and the women who inhabit it. Musically, Fox Hollow lives somewhere between the dusty roads of country, the grit of rock ’n’ roll and the strange, sparkling world of whimsy. It’s wild and romantic, mischievous and melancholic; sometimes a little dangerous.

Vixens of Fall share, “We’ve been sitting on this secret for 2 years and in that time, we’ve had so much fun creating the world of Fox Hollow. What started from an idea of Fox Hollow County Jail for our single Mugshot, has developed into an entire concept album. For our second album, we wanted to create a curated experience. Through the various lenses of the characters of Fox Hollow, we want to thoughtfully inspire people to immerse themselves and ponder the messages and lessons that they need to learn.”

Arriving alongside the announcement is ‘Last Train’ (out today), a moody, bluesy and rocking slice of up-tempo country that finds the sisters trying to break free from something they know is bad for them – while confronting the uncomfortable possibility that part of them doesn’t really want to leave.

As the final song on Fox Hollow, ‘Last Train’ becomes the bookend to the album’s journey. The train offers a way out of town and a chance to finally break the cycle, but the tension between what the heart wants and what the head knows better keeps pulling its passengers back towards where they started.

“You know that feeling you get when you just can’t let go of something? Something you know is bad for you, but it feels… oh so good?” explain the Vixens. “Last Train is about trying to kick that bad habit, but you just can’t… and kind of don’t want to.”

The closing track fittingly wrestles with finality. “When writing Last Train, we wanted a way to close this chapter of “the book” – the Gospel, according to The Vixen(s). It is a symbol of overcoming obstacles of a hell loop of your own making. Hopefully, and finally, learning your lesson and breaking the cycle. Will that Last Train take a different route, or will the doors open back up at your first stop? However, remember, in the words of the Eagles “you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave”. Is your time in Fox Hollow really over, or are you just back at the beginning again?”

‘Last Train’ follows previous single ‘Midnight Cowgirls’, which hit #2 on both the AMRAP Community Radio National and Metro Airplay Charts, reached #16 on the Tasmanian Oz CMR Country Airplay Chart and #28 on the Country Songs Top 40 Australian Airplay Chart, while earning editorial support across Spotify and Apple Music and seeing the trio become the faces of Tree of Life’s ‘Midnight Cowgirls’ campaign.

With more than 1.7 million global streams, three ICMA wins for Most Popular/Best Duo or Band and a live résumé that includes CMC Rocks, Gympie Music Muster, Savannah in the Round and Groundwater Country Music Festival, Vixens of Fall have continued to build a world distinctly their own. Their mix of sister harmonies, country storytelling and rock ’n’ roll attitude has seen Scenestr describe the trio as “a dark ABBA”, while ABC Country praised their “high-energy, witchy western magic.”

In 2027, that world moves from record to stage as the trio unveil the first leg of their brand new show, ‘The Tales of Fox Hollow’, premiering at Moonshiners Honky Tonk during Tamworth Country Music Festival on Friday January 22, with more dates to be announced.

As the doors to Fox Hollow finally open, Vixens of Fall are inviting listeners to follow the road, listen closely and decide for themselves whether they’re ready to leave.

The sirens are calling.
