Rising South-East Queensland country rock singer-songwriter Dan Henwood returns with a gritty, energetic and high-octane track that screams to be spun on full volume. ‘Back Into Gear’ is about heading out on a road trip with the boys, packing the swags and pushing the limits where you gotta get your mate to come rope you out, back into gear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growing up with country music and mates who would take me out for the weekend inspired this song and the passion and joy that comes with it, I just knew I had to write one for the country folks out there! Looking forward to going back to my roots with his one with a touch of fiddle and guitar”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dan Henwood is a 2x graduate of the CMAA Junior Academy. Drawing inspirations from artists such as Lee Kernaghan and The Wolfe Brothers, Dan successfully captures a traditional country sound with a modern country rock twist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His skill has taken him on the road through many new towns as a session guitarist which recently included a performance at Deni Ute Muster with Zara Lindeman. Dan has also performed alongside The Wolfe Brothers where he has been invited to play guitar at numerous shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A recent finalist in all categories in the Country Music People’s Choice Awards, Dan is currently writing new material which he is excited to be bringing to Australian audiences in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
