Bryce Sainty – Bonfire

BRYCE SAINTY DROPS FIERY NEW SINGLE AND VISUALISER ‘BONFIRE’ AHEAD OF HIS DENI UTE MUSTER DEBUT

Ahead of his appearance at the iconic 2024 Deni Ute Muster, country riser Bryce Sainty unveils his blistering new single, ‘Bonfire’.

The singer-songwriter has made a name for himself crafting cruisy summer bops, like the recent summer smash, ‘Coast’. Peaking at #25 on the CountryTown Hot 50 airplay charts, the breezy hit landed additions to Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ and Apple Music’s ‘Aussie Country’, ‘Today’s County’, ‘Little Bit Country’ and ‘New Music Daily’ editorial playlists.

Bryce seriously turns up the heat on ‘Bonfire’. “It’s about the fire you feel for someone and no matter what you do you can’t help but be enchanted by it,” he reveals.

Collaborating for the first time with Nashville-based writer Kylie Sackley, the pair instantly hit it off. “Kylie has been a bucket list songwriter for me to work with and when we sat down and wrote this song together there was so much energy. I feel as though the song captures that.”

When crafting the blazing guitar solos and stadium-worthy drums on ‘Bonfire’, Bryce relied on the veteran ears of producer, Rod McCormack. “He is so good at being able to transform my work tapes and vision into something amazing.” That vision carries through in the captivating music video shot by Eyes and Ears Creative – despite the challenges posed by the weather during filming. “It was in the middle of winter, and it was freezing but we needed to capture the essence of fire and warmth. It was a lot of blankets off camera, but Jeremy and the Eyes and Ears team did a great job,” laughs Bryce.

Recently notching over 4 million total streams, Bryce Sainty has enjoyed an illustrious rise since his breakout 2020 single ‘Do You Remember’. The country dynamo has supported The Wolfe Brothers, The Whitlams Black Stump and Melanie Dyer, with dates lined up alongside INXS founder, Andrew Farriss, in October. If that wasn’t enough, he’s set to light up the stage at the Deni Ute Muster and recently announced a headline show at Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Bryce Sainty’s latest single ignites a new chapter in his musical journey, showcasing his signature blend of emotive lyrics and electrifying instrumentation. ‘Bonfire’ is certain to be another hit for the singer-songwriter, as he continues to blaze a trail in Australian country music.

Ashleigh Dallas – Setting Suns

Ashleigh Dallas Lights Up The Horizon With Her New Album ‘Setting Suns’, Released September 13 th 2024.

Five time Country Music Award Of Australia (Golden Guitar) winning artist, Ashleigh Dallas, is proud to unveil her sixth studio album, ‘Setting Suns.’

The new record, crafted with the expert touch of Country Music Award Of Australia (Golden Guitar) winning producer Brett Dallas, marks a pivotal moment in Ashleigh’s musical journey. The collaboration between father and daughter working on Dallas’ sixth studio album showcases their love and resilience, as outside forces created barriers that they had to overcome.

‘Setting Suns’ is a testament to Ashleigh’s evolution as a songwriter, as each track explores profound themes of family, love, unpredictability, and grief. The album also highlights the strength in Ashleigh’s own musicianship, with her playing an array of instruments including banjo and fiddle alongside fellow musicians Brett Dallas, Lindsay Dallas and Michel Rose.

Dallas has been consistently building strong foundations over her fifteen years of recording, however the strength and growth in her latest offering highlight her ability to translate personal experiences into universal connections.

Production by Brett Dallas, whose renowned craftsmanship has shaped some of Ashleigh’s previous award-winning works, sees Ashleigh’s vision come to life with a sound that is both fresh and deeply resonant.

The album reflects Ashleigh’s journey towards embracing her own legacy, celebrating the strength she’s gained, and the distinctive path she has carved in country music. We also see Dallas honour her songwriting, digging lyrics from her most inner self.

“This album is the beginning of a new chapter for me,” Ashleigh Dallas shares.

“Setting Suns is an album we leapt into at full speed, forced to then slow down to a barely moving roll, as we faced what life was throwing our way head on. Trying to look on the bright side, I’ve embraced further self-discovery and acceptance that I will continue to share with the hope of building a stronger authentic connection with my audience, and my industry.”

“On this record, you can hear where I’ve been, and excitedly, where I’m going. I believe you can literally hear the love of our little family unit, which continues to strengthen as we come together. It’s been overwhelming, sometimes confronting, but each step filled with pure heart.”

No PROMISES – Singing My Lines

Frustrated by being overlooked in the music industry for years, Janine was compelled to write Singing My Lines.

“Dear Australian Music Industry
What do I have to do to break through and be heard?
Why does commercial radio constantly ignore new Australian talent?
Am I….too old? Too Assertive? Not pretty enough? Do I not fit your mould?
Did I not pay for plays?
Good music does not have an expiration date and neither should women in this Industry.
Just listen.

Right now I’m in my prime. I’ve never sung better or written better.
And I’ll keep releasing great songs until you have no choice but to listen.
Just listen.

Check out my previous releases with my amazing music partner Eric Collier.
Then ask yourself why our music isn’t all over the radio already.
Song writing and performing is not a choice for me; it’s ingrained in my soul. The melody flows within me, deeper than you’d ever believe.
Songs hit me in the middle of the night, when I wake up, in the shower, while I’m driving, even in the middle of gigging.
I can’t ignore them and I won’t.
I’ll keep churning them out whether you listen or not.
I’m not going away because I have something to say.
We have so many amazing artists here in Australia but the industry isn’t listening.
Thank God for community radio, the Aussie Muso’s champion.
To everyone else, play more NEW Australian content It’s time. It’s my time.”

Sincerely yours,

Janine Garvey

Pete OBrien – Black Shirt

‘Black Shirt’ is a cheeky double meaning song. Country fused with Blues makes a magic riff, with lyrics which will be stuck in your head. A meeting with a saucy woman who is dangerous, that leads to more trouble. Pete wrote the song and played all instruments. Pete is releasing his music song by song in the modern music world, more than releasing Albums. ‘Black Shirt’ is very catchy and you may be caught singing it out loud in public.

About Chancey
Saddle Bronc athlete-turned neo-traditional country music sensation Chancey Williams, has gone from competing on horseback to performing on center stage. As one of only two artists (along with Chris LeDoux) to both compete in the rodeo and perform on the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days and the only singer/songwriter to be endorsed by CINCH®, Williams is the next authentic cowboy of country music. The northeastern Wyoming native has toured the nation, taking the stage ahead of headliners Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and Parker McCollum, performing at a sold-out Ryman Auditorium, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, as well as headlining at The National Finals Rodeo and multiple performances at the Grand Ole’ Opry.

“For us, it’s been a long journey of playing against what was popular in country music, but we just stayed the course,” Williams told People Magazine of staying true to his roots. “I always tell the band, don’t worry about whatever any other artist is doing. We have blinders on.”

Representing the western lifestyle and cowboy mentality in its truest form, Williams’ sound and subject matter has found its time in Nashville’s country scene, as demonstrated on his latest release, sixth studio album One of These Days. One of These Days released to rave reviews, supported by the likes of People, Billboard, Taste of Country, Whiskey Riff, Holler.

Saving Country Music wrote, “If we could wave a magic wand and instantly remake mainstream country music into something much better than what it is today, Chancey Williams and his new album One of These Days would not be a bad wish at all.

“The time has finally come for Chancey Williams,” declared People Magazine. “Cowboys are cool again!”

“If we could wave a magic wand and instantly remake mainstream country music into something much better than what it is today, Chancey Williams… would not be a bad wish at all.” – Saving Country Music

Running Touch – Lost

He’s heralded as one of the country’s most enigmatic master-of-all trades. Today Running Touch embarks on a new era with the release of ‘Lost’ , his first new music in 2 years.

A fiercely versatile talent and one our hottest exports, Running Touch refuses to be boxed into any style or genre.

‘Lost’ is a deep, expansive slice of dance-pop. Set to deceptively sunny synth stabs and guitar licks, Running Touch’s searching, soulful vocal tells the story of getting swept away by lust, and the claustrophobia that follows as the fire burns out and the relationship feels hollow.

Inspired by mixed media, poetry, literature, movie scripts and travels, Running Touch’s lyrics are sincere and emotive, imbuing personal observations with the drama and romance found in the finest works of art. His music is brooding, dark and sexy as often as it is heartfelt, highly danceable and frequently fun. It’s the sound of a real one giving it everything he’s got, unafraid to push the boundaries as he boldly navigates unexplored terrain.

For the official video, Director CIAN Marangos worked with Running Touch to bring his concepts to life. Having performed ‘Lost’ live on tour with Chase Atlantic, Running Touch says of his new video, “I had to suddenly go overseas so this video happened in the space of a few days from end to end. It really forced it to be authentic and fun.

A lot of what’s to come is visually influenced by my roots and just having a good time, So the ideas that I came up with were based around hardcore/heavy music, my Polish heritage and my friends.

Shot and edited by the incredible Cian Marangos. Cian is a visionary and cut from a different cloth. When things go through his filter and his mind – it will end up beyond your expectations.”

The ‘Lost’ video features friends and band mates, including the likes of Ocean Grove and Adult Art Club.

After a period of profound growth as a person and musician, the Running Touch project is now at its most fully formed, with an enhanced focus on vocals and live performance and a determined step into the spotlight. His years of playing in live bands arming him with the confidence to rock a captivated crowd. Marrying his well-honed studio and performance skills with the unmatched energy and raw emotion of the hardcore scene he cut his teeth in, RT has come full circle in 2024.

Next month Running Touch returns to the stage performing his new live show at Yours and Owls Festival on Oct 12th in Wollongong.

About Running Touch

The songwriter, producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and creative director has drummed up plenty of attention here and overseas boasting more than 250 million streams and several multi-platinum certifications.

There’s been an APRA win for Best Dance Record (for “Better Together”, with Hayden James). A sold-out album tour supporting the 2022 release of his acclaimed debut solo LP Carmine, streamed 27 million times, and a surprise performance at Coachella. Recent life-changing moments include touring with Chase Atlantic in Australia, New Zealand and London’s three sold out nights at the Eventim Apollo performing to 15,000 people. Sold out shows across Australia and the UK. Two sold out headline nights at the Forum and performing on top of a mountain in Hakuba Japan for the infamous ‘CERCLE’ are only a couple of major moments that have built his ever-growing audience.

Running Touch is more than just another name on an overcrowded electronic music circuit, his dexterity and daring is the sign of a true artist.

Sammi Palinkas – Sunset State of Mind

Rising Australian contemporary Country artist Sammi Palinkas is releasing her latest single “Sunset State of Mind”.

All about slowing down and admiring the beauty of a sunset, and used as a metaphor for life, “Sunset State of Mind” is an uplifting and empowering song that will bring a smile to your face, as you reflect on all the beautiful things life has to offer, when you slow down and take a moment to look around.

“Rod McCormack and I were bouncing around ideas for our next write, and I wanted to create something musically inspired by the late 90’s country era I love, and the likes of Faith Hill” Palinkas said. “We joined forces with Nashville-based writers Sam Gay and Templeton Thompson. After reminiscing on how busy life had been and the inability to find a moment to slow down, “Sunset State of Mind” was born. I’ve always had a fascination with sunsets and how they can make the busiest people stop for a moment to admire the beauty. “Sunset State of Mind” is a reminder for us to slow down and truly experience all of life’s joys whilst we’re able to, just like we’d experience a sunset. We don’t try and change, fix or judge a sunset, we take it all in, appreciate it with an open mind and heart, and accept what’s right in front of us. I love what that moment stands for. It’s a beautiful message and a great metaphor for life that I want to share with others. Musically we wanted to capture the real essence of that experience and for that reason it has become my happy song. The one I put on and grin from ear-to-ear for a second, just like I would in front of a sunset. I hope it brings happiness to everyone who hears it”. – Sammi Palinkas

Having already made waves in the country music scene, Sammi is putting the finishing touches on her 15-track debut album, with award-winning Producer Rod McCormack (Paul Kelly, The Wolfe Brothers & Lee Kernaghan). Her first Country single “Meet in the Middle” debuted at #3 on the Australian iTunes Country chart, #8 All Genre and charted on the official CountryTown National Airplay Chart. Follow up singles “You’ve Lived”, “Don’t Blink” and “Let Your Hair Down” all debuted in the Top 10 on the Australian iTunes Country chart, as did her Christmas single “From Me to You”. Most recently she released country power ballad “She’s Mine to Love” demonstrating her capability as both a singer and heartfelt writer, and “In a Country Song”.

Sammi Palinkas’ journey in music began at the age of three, fuelled by a diverse range of musical influences that include country greats like Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and Loretta Lynn. From winning a national televised singing competition at the age of eight, to captivating audiences on stage and television, Sammi’s passion for music and performance has been evident throughout her life.

Her dedication to her craft has taken her across the globe, where she has collaborated with renowned songwriters and producers in cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville. With performances at major events like the VFLW Grand Final and ‘Big Hug Day’ as well as recognition from organisations such as NSAI and the International Songwriting Competition (ISC), Sammi Palinkas continues to solidify her place as one of Australia’s most promising country music talents.

“Sunset State of Mind ” is the second last single ahead of Sammi’s debut album and forms the next piece in her ever-growing catalogue.

Jimbo Stokes – All For You

Rising talent, Jimbo Stokes, has started the year with a bang! Off the back of a successful Tamworth Country Music Festival; Jimbo Stokes secured a partnership with ABC Music kicking off with the release of his first single, ” Got Me Good”; which impacted streaming and radio play.

Jimbo returns with his second single, the deeply personal, “All For You”. As Jimbo describes the song, “It’s about repaying those that had faith in you, particularly when you may have lacked it yourself. It can be hard sometimes to find the motivation to self-improve, but I think knowing it’s not just about you can really help. ‘All For You’ is raw and close to home, but I’m sure anyone who draws inspiration from loved ones, whether they’re family or past relationships can resonate.”

The Scone based country singer had his breakout year in 2023, which saw two singles rocket up the country music charts and assert himself as one to watch. The momentum continues this year with a series of singles planned and an EP slated for later in 2024.

Bruce Mackay Songwriting (Feat. Anthony Snape) – Forever Legend

‘FOREVER LEGEND’ is the story of a little boy’s desire and journey towards country music stardom…just like his dad.

The song is a direct result of Lyricist Bruce Mackay attending his first Country Music Festival in Tamworth earlier this year.

Aside from being “blown away” by the incredible talent wherever he looked, the number of “family” groups performing left an indelible impression on him. So much so, that upon his return Bruce wrote ‘End of the Beginning’ sung by Adrian Payne and more recently this release, ‘FOREVER LEGEND’ with Anthony Snape, both reflecting the generational pull of Country Music
