Elyse Saunders – Dirt

Elyse Saunders is ready to dish all the Dirt. The award-winning Canadian artist continues to add to her impressive catalogue of standout country tunes with her new single “Dirt”. Following her signature style of crafting country hits with double entendre’s, “Dirt” combines hooky lyrics with a ’90’s country meets modern swagger feel.

Produced by award winning songwriter and producer Dan Swinimer (Madeline Merlo, Tyler Joe Miller, Billy Currington), the track highlights honky tonk riffs, small-town stories and Elyse’s fiery vocals. Catching industry buzz ahead of its release, “Dirt” was selected as a top 10 Country finalist for Nashville’s NSAI competition, selected as Amazon Music’s faceout artist for their “Breakthrough Country” playlist and was highlighted in the May edition of Holler Country Magazine’s “Best New Country” amongst music releases by Megan Moroney, Shaboozey and Jackson Dean.

“While the song sings about small town rumours, the grass being greener and white picket fences, it’s also about relating to each other and realizing that we’re all going through stuff,” says Saunders. “I wanted to bring light to the topic in a somewhat comical style of songwriting, with a message that connects to all of us. No matter who we are, “we all got dirt…”

“Dirt” follows her breakout early 2024 release ” Never Have I Ever” which was not only a charting song at Canadian radio, but also reached #6 on the Australian CountryTown National Airplay Charts.

Brad Paisley – Truck Still Works

Country music superstar Brad Paisley releases his new single ‘Truck Still Works’.

Written by Paisley, Chris Dubois, Will Bundy, Hunter Phelps and Rodney Clawson, and produced by Luke Wooten and Paisley.

‘Truck Still Works’ is an ode to one of the biggest hits of his career, ‘Mud On The Tires’ which he wrote with Dubois and became a #1 single in 2005.

‘Truck Still Works’ is one of many songs Brad has written lately that has new inspired an entirely new album to come.

Toby May – Tonight

I wrote “Tonight” in 1996 in about 30 minutes. I was about 16 years old…just sorta flowed out on to the paper.

It has had a few lyrical changes over the years, having been recorded a few times on a much smaller scale than now.

In 2021 I decided to cut the song again with guidance of my producer Kenny Royster of Ken Royster Productions in Nashville. With Kenny, and the amazing talent of sone of the very best studio musicians in the world, Tonight evolved into the record it is today.

I’m very proud of this record and I’m looking forward to sharing it with the world.

Eva Cassidy – Walkin’ After Midnight

New western swing album featuring 13 previously unreleased recordings

Now includes previously unheard song Desperado, released on 30th anniversary of Eva’s performance

Eva Cassidy’s Walkin’ After Midnight collection is literally a ticket back to Eva’s accidental Western Swing Night. A small gig at the King of France Tavern, downtown Annapolis. The 2nd of November, 1995, two months prior to her now famous Live At Blues Alley recordings. When two of Eva’ s usual four band mates were unavailable, she improvised via an impromptu invite to musician friend Bruno Nasta.

Proving the old adage, less can be more, the resulting violin/ lead guitar/bass combo, together with Eva’s acoustic guitar, created a serendipitous alternate context for some of Eva’s most popular repertoire. Dancing in the space opened up by the absence of additional instruments, Eva’s vocals are as joyous and free as any previously heard. Although 11 of the 13 songs appear on existing Eva albums, all 13 tracks are previously unreleased Eva Cassidy recordings.

Featuring as the finale to the album, Eva sends us home to the tune of her take on the Don Henley/Glenn Frey Western Themed masterpiece. Eva’s vocal from Pearl’s (a now defunct Annapolis club) on September 24, 1994, is as pristine as ever. 30 years on, the other instruments have been replaced by Lenny Williams’ Fender Rhodes electric piano/Hammond B-3 organ parts. Who better to bridge the years than one of Eva’s original musical partners who, ironically, was one of the two band members absent from her 1995 Walkin’ After Midnight gig.

Waylon Wyatt & Bayker Blankenship – Jailbreak

Singer, songwriter, and musician Waylon Wyatt has teamed up with Bayker Blakenship to share their new song “Jailbreak” via Music Soup/Darkroom Records. The two rising stars blend their dynamic vocals with classic Americana and Country elements, demonstrating Wyatt and Blankenship’s ability to make modern singer-songwriter music their own. Through the track, the duo positions themselves as forces to watch in this new generation of Country music, continuing to set new standards and solidify themselves as leading rising voices of the genre.

“Jailbreak” follows on the heels of Wyatt’s recently released debut EP, “Til The Sun Goes Down”, a project that he solely produced and wrote. Since its release, “Til The Sun Goes Down” has amassed over 55M global streams to date and continues to grow.

Just seventeen years old and hailing from the small town of Hackett, Arkansas, Wyatt embarked on his musical journey at the age of fifteen, writing music in his childhood home. Balancing his passion with long summer days working construction with his father, Wyatt began crafting his own songs and refining them in his parents’ rec room, resulting in him becoming the first Country/Americana artist signed to Darkroom Records. Wyatt joins the label’s impressive roster of Billie Eilish, D4vd, John Summit, and many more.

With no signs of slowing down, Wyatt recently wrapped up his supporting role opening for Dwight Yoakam on his “The Cosmic Roundup & Rodeo Tour,” and will continue to perform his own slew of headlining shows and at festivals including Americana Fest. He was also announced today as part of the bill for next year’s incredible Stagecoach Festival.

ABOUT WAYLON WYATT:

Waylon Wyatt is a 17-year-old Folk/Country artist born and raised in Hackett, Arkansas.

Greg Susoreny – Oh Baby

For Greg Susoreny, it’s been a very enjoyable journey pursuing his passion for writing and recording music. While his arrival in music comes after starting several businesses in other industries, he is not ending something; he’s just getting started. With the strong country and adult contemporary sound that defines his music, time spent listening to Greg will put you into a thought-provoking mood. Greg says his current single, “Oh Baby,” was written to express the passion and insecurities people feel when you fall in love. He will be releasing his next single “Alone On This Road” in a few months. He produced and recorded his music in Nashville, TN “I hope my music inspires people to reflect on what is really important in life.”

Born in Northwest Indiana and raised in Dallas, Texas, Susoreny was consumed with playing sports during his younger years. After graduating from college, he went to work, but not in music. With his business degree from Indiana University School of Business, Susoreny founded a technical staffing and software company in Dallas, Texas, started a general contracting company in Miami Beach, Florida and built a roofing company in Colorado Springs, Colorado and designed and built a condo community in Costa Rica. A true entrepreneur, Greg has a keen eye for opportunity.

Greg started his first record label called Truth Records in Miami Beach, Florida in 2002. Working with his first Truth Records artist was a good motivator for him, and as they worked on his album, Greg’s desire to write and record his own music came calling. “I’ve always been a poet at heart. Rhymes come easy to me, and I can clearly hear the song melodies in my head even though I am not proficient in playing an instrument.” Original thought provoking songs, written from the heart, are a natural fit for Susoreny. Being at the musical helm is also the right fit for his entrepreneurial spirit. Not only did he found Aqua Blue Records, the label on which his music is released, but he directly manages every aspect of the creation, production and release of his music.

From sharing his time between Southwest Florida and Colorado, Greg is the president of Pyramid Roofing Corp in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Greg is also focused on building Aqua Blue Records and writing and recording more of his music. There is a lot more to come, “I want to release more music of my own, and build Aqua Blue Records. I want to find talented artists who have the drive and determination to become successful.”

Kip Moore – Live Here To Work

Multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter Kip Moore released today his brand new song ‘Live Here to Work’ along with a grunge-tinged rock n’ roll music video. Available everywhere through Virgin Music Group, ‘Live Here to Work’ finds Moore reuniting with co-producer Jaren Johnston for a defiant, guitar-drenched anthem striking a rebellious chord between work/life balance as he contends “My time is short and it ain’t yours / Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind getting my hands in a little dirt / But I don’t live here to work.”

“I think it’s easy as humans to get caught up in the mundaneness of day to day tasks and responsibilities,” stated Moore.

“Everyone’s had that feeling where they’ve hit that limit and you’re just like ‘fuck that, I have to get off this hamster wheel or my spirit’s gonna die.’ We played it live for the first time at a show a few weeks ago and people lost it. It’s going to be fun to see how others embrace it… or don’t.”

Moore teased the upcoming release of ‘Live Here to Work’ last week along with the announcement that he has partnered with Virgin Music Group for the next phase of his career. He spoke with Billboard and stated, “their tenacity, passion and their focus on a global plan made this feel like the next best step. We’ve been seeing a real growth internationally from touring there the past few years, and so it felt natural to go with a team that has tentacles in a lot of different territories, particularly the countries I have toured extensively.”

Moore is in the midst of his marathon Nomad World Tour which resumes in arenas and stadiums this month with a 14-show run in Australia, followed by a return to South Africa where he performed to crowds of over 40,000 fans last year, and culminates with a string of dates in the U.S. this fall. Tickets and VIP packages are available now and can be purchased HERE.

Hailed as “an uncompromising, genre-defying artist firing on all cylinders” (Vice/Noisey) and “one of country’s more thoughtful artists” (Billboard), multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter Kip Moore has blazed his own trail and cemented his place as one of music’s most beloved artists. Beginning with his auspicious debut in 2012, Moore has since released five critically acclaimed albums and penned over a dozen chart-topping singles, including the multi-platinum hits ‘Something’ ‘Bout a Truck’, ‘Hey Pretty Girl’, ‘Beer Money’, and ‘More Girls Like You’. With over 1 billion streams and 2.5 million monthly listeners, he’s performed sold-out headline shows in stadiums around the world including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, The U.K., Europe, and the U.S., leading to a nomination for CMA’s International Artist Achievement Award. His latest album Damn Love was praised by Holler as “the best album of Kip Moore’s career” while earning further acclaim from Billboard, Music Row, and American Songwriter. Moore also appeared on Good Morning America to perform the album’s lead single and title track. A truly remarkable performer and “one of country music’s most tireless and powerful live draws” (Rolling Stone), Moore has spent the bulk of 2024 out on the road where he’s renowned for his signature sound and blistering live shows. He kicked off the year by joining Billy Currington as part of a limited Billy Currington & Kip Moore: Live In Concert run, which was followed by a stint out on HARDY’s QUIT!! Tour.

Andy Penkow – The Lone Drover

Following a thrilling year of touring across Australia and Canada to promote his fourth studio album, Shades On Me, acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Andy Penkow is set to release his latest single, “The Lone Drover.” With this new release, Penkow once again demonstrates his versatility by transitioning from contemporary sounds to a more traditional Aussie bush ballad.

“The Lone Drover” is a poignant exploration of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. The song tells the story of a resilient Australian outback worker, or “battler,” who loses love only to find it anew. Central to the narrative is the deep bond he shares with his daughter and the rugged land he calls home. This single serves as a prequel to Penkow’s 2023 Golden Guitar-nominated bush ballad, “Ghostly Gums.”

Hailing from the small town of Sussex Inlet in New South Wales, Penkow grew up immersed in a diverse range of country music influences, from legends like Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, and Hank Williams to iconic Australian artists such as Slim Dusty, John Williamson, and Kasey Chambers. His deep appreciation for traditional Australian country music is evident, as he pays homage to the great bush balladeers who have come before him.

Reflecting on the creation of “The Lone Drover,” Penkow shared, “Writing this bush ballad was a deeply moving experience for me. Collaborating with talented songwriters Kath Stewart and Rip-Van Parks and working with the exceptional producer Steve Newton at ENREC Studios, allowed me to bring this story to life. I envisioned what the drover must have felt-losing the love of his life, raising a child alone as best he knew how. The doubt and fear, the loneliness and pain, and yet, the warmth and love he felt for his daughter. My admiration for all the Aussie drovers and farmers, working in some of the harshest terrains, has grown tenfold.”

As an artist passionate about his craft, Penkow emphasises the significance of “The Lone Drover” as a reflection of his artistic identity. “People may question my musical style, whether I’m contemporary, alternative, country blues, or traditional. To me, I am an artist and storyteller, first and foremost. I write and sing songs that resonate with me on a personal level, and I hope my audiences can connect with that.”

Courtney Keil – Just Like Flying

COURTNEY KEIL SHARES NEW SINGLE ‘JUST LIKE FLYING’: A HEARTFELT TRIBUTE TO HER GRANDFATHER’S TRIUMPH

Australian country songbird, Courtney Keil, is thrilled to announce the release of her latest single, ‘Just Like Flying’. The deeply personal track pays tribute to Courtney’s late grandfather, Glen Keil, and his remarkable achievement in the Barossa Valley’s 1951 Jubilee year Vintage Festival.

‘Just Like Flying’ captures the essence of true Australian spirit and history, inspired by a memorable foot race won by Courtney’s grandfather. Picture the Barossa Valley in 1951 – the 50th anniversary of the Federation of Australia, a Jubilee year. “The Tanunda Showgrounds oval held ‘Jubilee’ track and field events, attracting athletes from all around the country,” shared Courtney’s grandfather, days before his passing in 2020. “I was 20 years old and not a professional runner, but because I was quick on the footy field, my teammates coaxed me to enter the race.”

The young underdog etched his name in history that day, taking home the trophy. However, it wasn’t Courtney who first envisaged the story in song. “My dad originally came up with the idea of the song,” she admits. Naturally they wrote it together, alongside long-time collaborator and producer, Rod McCormack.

The track was crafted over two days at The Music Cellar, with meticulous attention to detail and a nod to the traditional sounds of country music. “I loved once again working with Rod. He worked his magic incorporating all my favourite classic country sounds that I love so much!”

Following her successful duet with Gina Jeffreys – which reached #5 on the Country Songs Top 40 Australian Airplay Chart and was featured on Apple Music’s ‘Aussie Country’ and ‘Country Risers’ playlists – Courtney continues to captivate audiences with her unique blend of storytelling and musicality.

The silk-toned singer has won back-to-back awards for ‘Best Female Vocal’ at the 2023 & 2024 Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards, highlighting her growing influence in the country music scene. While on the festival circuit she recently captivated crowds at the iconic Gympie Music Muster .

Having played support to legendary acts like The Whitlams Black Stump and Brian Cadd, Courtney is set to take centre stage for a headline show at Gosford RSL. On September 20th she promises an unforgettable performance on NSW’s Central Coast, where she now calls home.

‘Just Like Flying’ is a testament to Courtney’s evolving artistry and personal connection to her music. It’s more than just a song; it’s a homage to a cherished memory and a testament to the enduring legacy of Glen Keil.

Mary Sarah – The Bottom

Short description of the release/song:

I grew up in a small town in Texas, which meant some of my first ever gigs were in blue collar bars and honky tonks. I have made so many lifelong friends in those places and, to me, you meet people right where they are at. No showing face, just in a bar to wind down and make memories! This song’s vibe is definitely a windows rolled down, singing it out with your friends down a back road.

Short Bio:

While others her age were spending their weekends partying, Mary Sarah was out working with the likeness of Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, and many more on her “Bridges” duet album where she paid respect to the legends before her. Wasting no time after a legendary album, Mary Sarah went on to receive a 4-chair turn and placed 5th on Season 10 of The Voice. Garnering more than 275,000+ streams on Spotify and over 200,000+ followers on all socials, fans are eager and anticipating much more to come. The Wolfe Brothers – Beer In A Bar (feat. Kaylee Bell)

Powerhouse Australian country duo, The Wolfe Brothers, release new single featuring Kiwi born/Nashville based songstress, Kaylee Bell. This new song with Kaylee is the latest in a line of star-studded collaborations that have seen artists like LoCash, Lee Kernaghan, Amy Sheppard, Jack Jones and Travis Collins all join the brothers from Tasmania in the recording studio. This track, “Beer In A Bar”, is the follow up to The Wolfe Brothers recent hit, “Little By Little”, which was the fastest moving single on the National Country Airplay Chart this year, jumping to #2 in just 3 weeks.

Over their 12-year career The Wolfe Brothers have released 6 studio albums, been awarded 9 Golden Guitars and have amassed in excess of 20 million streams. The new single, “Beer In A Bar” , was written by Nick Wolfe and Max Jackson and was co-produced by Nick and Rod McCormack.

Nick said this about the single: “No good story ever started with a salad but many start with a beer in a bar. Tom and I are absolutely wrapped to be collaborating with Kaylee on this song. It’s been so good to watch her success over the last few years. While it may seem ‘overnight’ to many Kaylee has always been one of the hardest workers, best writers and solid performers on the scene for the last decade! We’ve written together in the past and talked about doing a song together many times. It feels right that Beer In A Bar is the one we’re finally joining forces on!”

Tom adds about Kaylee Bell, “We are so excited to have Kaylee joining us on this track. She is one of the most talented artists out there and not to mention one of the hardest workers. It’s also really cool that our great mate Max Jackson, who is also the Special Guest on our current tour, helped write this track. She is a super talent.”

Kaylee mentions, “I’ve been friends with the Wolfies for over ten years now and have always loved what they do and respected how hard they work. So, it was a no brainer to want to be on a song with them. They asked me about the collab in Tamworth backstage at a gig when we were all letting our hair down a little and I wasn’t sure they’d remembered asking me when I saw them the next day, so it was a bit of a laugh to find out it was a real thing and they sent me the song and I instantly loved the catchiness of the chorus and how I felt like I already knew it after one listen. So, I’m stoked to have a song with the guys and can’t wait to hear people singing this one back to us at shows.”

RhodoSun is an Australian songwriter, producer and muso.

Blues, rock, pop and country are Rhodos favourite musical places He records with musos sharing the passion to play real instruments and sing in real time. The outstanding guitar solo is by Harry Alexiadis – a brilliant young guitarist and Sydney Uni Conservatorium graduate.

It also garnered extensive radio play across Australia’s major country networks and the music video soared in CMT Australia’s Official Top 30.

Jensen once again enlisted award-winning duo MSquared (behind “Stomping Ground” and the hits of Casey Barnes, Kaylee Bell, Taylor Moss and more), as well as Canadian hit maker Reluctant Cowboy Records (behind her ARIA #1 Country album “Breakin’ Hearts”) on the production of “Outskirts”, co-written with acclaimed Canadian songwriter Joni Delaurier, it’s a celebration of Jensen’s rural roots:

“‘Outskirts’ is about my life growing up on the outskirts of town,” Jensen explains. “My family & I lived on a 30-acre property about 40km from Canberra. Life was different for us compared to kids that grew up in the city…but I loved it and it made me who I am today, so I thought it was about time I wrote a song about it!

I was a mad horsey girl and rode every day. We had chooks, goats, horses (of course), and countless rescue animals. Weekends were spent fixing fences, chopping & stacking wood, riding in the forest, learning to drive in the paddocks & down old dirt roads, keeping the grass down so snakes didn’t come into the house… I caught the country kids’ bus to school and if you missed it, you were in big trouble!

She adds, “And there’s nothing like a party in the country! You can turn the music up as loud as you want, sing along at the top of your lungs, and no one can hear you. Some of my best memories are of inviting mates to camp over, lighting huge bonfires and partying into the night – no one complains. It’s the best! It’s hard work and good times making memories with the people you love. That’s life growing up in the country – on the ‘Outskirts’ of town – and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!”

Jensen’s illustrious career includes being a two-time CMAA Golden Guitar finalist for ‘Female Artist of the Year’ in 2022 and 2023, and receiving the ICMA ‘Most Popular Female Artist’ Award in 2024. She first gained national recognition as a Top 4 finalist on the second season of ‘Australian Idol’ and later wowed audiences on ‘The Voice,’ where she was praised by coach Kylie Minogue as ‘the whole package.’

A dynamic, powerhouse live performer, Jensen has headlined major festivals across Australia and internationally. Her notable performances include headlining the main stage at Tamworth Country Music Festival, as well as her own live shows, and international festivals such as the Calgary Stampede and Dauphins CountryFest in Canada, and Buckle & Boots Festival in the UK.

Hayley has just signed with Wheelhouse Agency and will be hitting the road to celebrate the release of “Outskirts” with a national headline tour (dates below). “I’m so pumped for these shows! There’s nothing better than live music. The connection you make with fans when you’re out on the road and the excitement of performing your songs for a revved-up audience shouting all the words back to you is like nothing else!”

With its upbeat energy, catchy and relatable lyrics about country living in Australia, “Outskirts” is set to become a new favorite at country radio and in country party playlists – get ready to experience life on the ‘Outskirts’!

Bryce Sainty – Bonfire

BRYCE SAINTY DROPS FIERY NEW SINGLE AND VISUALISER ‘BONFIRE’ AHEAD OF HIS DENI UTE MUSTER DEBUT

Ahead of his appearance at the iconic 2024 Deni Ute Muster, country riser Bryce Sainty unveils his blistering new single, ‘Bonfire’.

The singer-songwriter has made a name for himself crafting cruisy summer bops, like the recent summer smash, ‘Coast’. Peaking at #25 on the CountryTown Hot 50 airplay charts, the breezy hit landed additions to Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ and Apple Music’s ‘Aussie Country’, ‘Today’s County’, ‘Little Bit Country’ and ‘New Music Daily’ editorial playlists.

Bryce seriously turns up the heat on ‘Bonfire’. “It’s about the fire you feel for someone and no matter what you do you can’t help but be enchanted by it,” he reveals.

Collaborating for the first time with Nashville-based writer Kylie Sackley, the pair instantly hit it off. “Kylie has been a bucket list songwriter for me to work with and when we sat down and wrote this song together there was so much energy. I feel as though the song captures that.”

When crafting the blazing guitar solos and stadium-worthy drums on ‘Bonfire’, Bryce relied on the veteran ears of producer, Rod McCormack. “He is so good at being able to transform my work tapes and vision into something amazing.” That vision carries through in the captivating music video shot by Eyes and Ears Creative – despite the challenges posed by the weather during filming. “It was in the middle of winter, and it was freezing but we needed to capture the essence of fire and warmth. It was a lot of blankets off camera, but Jeremy and the Eyes and Ears team did a great job,” laughs Bryce.

Recently notching over 4 million total streams, Bryce Sainty has enjoyed an illustrious rise since his breakout 2020 single ‘Do You Remember’. The country dynamo has supported The Wolfe Brothers, The Whitlams Black Stump and Melanie Dyer, with dates lined up alongside INXS founder, Andrew Farriss, in October. If that wasn’t enough, he’s set to light up the stage at the Deni Ute Muster and recently announced a headline show at Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Bryce Sainty’s latest single ignites a new chapter in his musical journey, showcasing his signature blend of emotive lyrics and electrifying instrumentation. ‘Bonfire’ is certain to be another hit for the singer-songwriter, as he continues to blaze a trail in Australian country music.

Ashleigh Dallas – Setting Suns

Ashleigh Dallas Lights Up The Horizon With Her New Album ‘Setting Suns’, Released September 13 th 2024.

Five time Country Music Award Of Australia (Golden Guitar) winning artist, Ashleigh Dallas, is proud to unveil her sixth studio album, ‘Setting Suns.’

The new record, crafted with the expert touch of Country Music Award Of Australia (Golden Guitar) winning producer Brett Dallas, marks a pivotal moment in Ashleigh’s musical journey. The collaboration between father and daughter working on Dallas’ sixth studio album showcases their love and resilience, as outside forces created barriers that they had to overcome.

‘Setting Suns’ is a testament to Ashleigh’s evolution as a songwriter, as each track explores profound themes of family, love, unpredictability, and grief. The album also highlights the strength in Ashleigh’s own musicianship, with her playing an array of instruments including banjo and fiddle alongside fellow musicians Brett Dallas, Lindsay Dallas and Michel Rose.

Dallas has been consistently building strong foundations over her fifteen years of recording, however the strength and growth in her latest offering highlight her ability to translate personal experiences into universal connections.

Production by Brett Dallas, whose renowned craftsmanship has shaped some of Ashleigh’s previous award-winning works, sees Ashleigh’s vision come to life with a sound that is both fresh and deeply resonant.

The album reflects Ashleigh’s journey towards embracing her own legacy, celebrating the strength she’s gained, and the distinctive path she has carved in country music. We also see Dallas honour her songwriting, digging lyrics from her most inner self.

“This album is the beginning of a new chapter for me,” Ashleigh Dallas shares.

“Setting Suns is an album we leapt into at full speed, forced to then slow down to a barely moving roll, as we faced what life was throwing our way head on. Trying to look on the bright side, I’ve embraced further self-discovery and acceptance that I will continue to share with the hope of building a stronger authentic connection with my audience, and my industry.”

“On this record, you can hear where I’ve been, and excitedly, where I’m going. I believe you can literally hear the love of our little family unit, which continues to strengthen as we come together. It’s been overwhelming, sometimes confronting, but each step filled with pure heart.”

No PROMISES – Singing My Lines

Frustrated by being overlooked in the music industry for years, Janine was compelled to write Singing My Lines.

“Dear Australian Music Industry
What do I have to do to break through and be heard?
Why does commercial radio constantly ignore new Australian talent?
Am I….too old? Too Assertive? Not pretty enough? Do I not fit your mould?
Did I not pay for plays?
Good music does not have an expiration date and neither should women in this Industry.
Just listen.

Right now I’m in my prime. I’ve never sung better or written better.
And I’ll keep releasing great songs until you have no choice but to listen.
Just listen.

Check out my previous releases with my amazing music partner Eric Collier.
Then ask yourself why our music isn’t all over the radio already.
Song writing and performing is not a choice for me; it’s ingrained in my soul. The melody flows within me, deeper than you’d ever believe.
Songs hit me in the middle of the night, when I wake up, in the shower, while I’m driving, even in the middle of gigging.
I can’t ignore them and I won’t.
I’ll keep churning them out whether you listen or not.
I’m not going away because I have something to say.
We have so many amazing artists here in Australia but the industry isn’t listening.
Thank God for community radio, the Aussie Muso’s champion.
To everyone else, play more NEW Australian content It’s time. It’s my time.”

Sincerely yours,

Janine Garvey

Pete OBrien – Black Shirt

‘Black Shirt’ is a cheeky double meaning song. Country fused with Blues makes a magic riff, with lyrics which will be stuck in your head. A meeting with a saucy woman who is dangerous, that leads to more trouble. Pete wrote the song and played all instruments. Pete is releasing his music song by song in the modern music world, more than releasing Albums. ‘Black Shirt’ is very catchy and you may be caught singing it out loud in public.

About Chancey
Saddle Bronc athlete-turned neo-traditional country music sensation Chancey Williams, has gone from competing on horseback to performing on center stage. As one of only two artists (along with Chris LeDoux) to both compete in the rodeo and perform on the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days and the only singer/songwriter to be endorsed by CINCH®, Williams is the next authentic cowboy of country music. The northeastern Wyoming native has toured the nation, taking the stage ahead of headliners Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and Parker McCollum, performing at a sold-out Ryman Auditorium, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, as well as headlining at The National Finals Rodeo and multiple performances at the Grand Ole’ Opry.

“For us, it’s been a long journey of playing against what was popular in country music, but we just stayed the course,” Williams told People Magazine of staying true to his roots. “I always tell the band, don’t worry about whatever any other artist is doing. We have blinders on.”

Representing the western lifestyle and cowboy mentality in its truest form, Williams’ sound and subject matter has found its time in Nashville’s country scene, as demonstrated on his latest release, sixth studio album One of These Days. One of These Days released to rave reviews, supported by the likes of People, Billboard, Taste of Country, Whiskey Riff, Holler.

Saving Country Music wrote, “If we could wave a magic wand and instantly remake mainstream country music into something much better than what it is today, Chancey Williams and his new album One of These Days would not be a bad wish at all.

“The time has finally come for Chancey Williams,” declared People Magazine. “Cowboys are cool again!”

“If we could wave a magic wand and instantly remake mainstream country music into something much better than what it is today, Chancey Williams… would not be a bad wish at all.” – Saving Country Music
