Mitchell Ferguson – Drink A Beer

About Mitchell Ferguson:

Mitchell Ferguson is a rising country-soul artist often described as a combination of Chris Stapleton and Teddy Swims. With 163k TikTok followers, 12M+ likes, and over 47 viral videos (12 surpassing 1M views), Mitchell has built a devoted fanbase through his heartfelt covers, comedic takes on country music, and authentic storytelling.

Mitchell’s viral success has translated into 5,500+ pre-saves (and climbing) for Drink A Beer and a growing audience of 63k monthly Spotify listeners. As an independent artist, he has shown an incredible ability to activate his fanbase and sustain momentum through innovative campaigns. His sound and story appeal to both younger TikTok-savvy listeners and traditional country fans.

About the Song:

Drink A Beer is a country anthem with singer-songwriter vibes and modern production. It all started as a playful TikTok video where Mitchell jokingly made up lyrics for a “pop-country song,” which unexpectedly went viral, racking up 1.3M views. From there, he leaned into the momentum, wrote the first verse and chorus, and performed an acoustic version that hit even more, gaining 1.9M views.

Mitchell didn’t just stop at producing the song-he made sure fans were a part of the process. Before recording the track, he launched an Open Verse Challenge on TikTok, inspiring hundreds of fans to jump in, many of them going viral themselves. Then, he took things a step further by hosting a live event at a bar he used to play at, where a 200+ person community choir sang backup vocals for the final recording. It doesn’t get much more authentic than that.

Now, with the official produced version teased, the song’s campaign has already pulled in over 4.5M views across six promotional videos, proving just how much it’s resonating with fans. Drink A Beer isn’t just a song-it’s a shared experience that is bringing people together in a way that feels fresh and real.

Aaron Halliday – Home Wasn’t Built In A Day

This track is the signature track from the upcoming full length album by Aaron Halliday. It is a career defining song and an anthem to everyone who has struggled to keep everything together while raising a family and building a relationship. It is the only track not written by Aaron but is one of the most resonating songs he has ever put out to radio.

This single and the album of the same name is the second studio album for Aaron and his wife, life partner and friend Sharyn, a process much like the lyrics “Board by Board and Brick by Brick we made it any way but quick”.

As many already know Aaron has been touring Internationally performing his original songs, along with a tribute to Alan Jackson for most of the past 30 years, and with this new album, it will be hard to decide whether to keep the tribute going or really step up and put his creative works at the front and centre of the shows. In the meantime Aaron and Sharyn have 34 live performances across Canada the USA and Mexico scheduled for 2025 beginning with the first US date in Nashville TN on April 11th.

Aaron has been nominated for several awards for songwriting over the years from a number of different associations and is currently a member of Country Music Alberta and the CCMA, he won Entertainer of the Year from the International Singer Songwriter Association in 2021 and expects to be well represented at all the associations this year following the release of this new music.

Pete OBrien – Indiana Girl

Everybody Dreams. ‘Indiana Girl’ is a song about a guy’s dream.

A glowing girl on the other side of the world, waiting for someone to dream about her. Maybe it was a long-distance relationship. Maybe a day will come when they can meet each other and live a life that dreams are made of. Maybe the connection is suspended in love. Was it real or a dream? Only time will tell.

‘Indiana Girl’ was recorded in Nashville in October 2024 at Panda Studios. The same place Pete recorded his first album which included hits like ‘Red Dress’ and ‘I Love You’. Pete was thrilled to be working again with the guys from Panda Productions on this intercontinental track.

Distributed in all online stores and Platforms Worldwide by ‘9 Lives Records Kentucky.’

Lucy Parle – Burn For You

ABOUT THE SONG – BURN FOR YOU

Lucy’s latest offering, ‘Burn For You’, is a country cover of the original John Farnham song. Leaning on a traditional country landscape, the song features Lucy’s cozy twang, anchored upon beautiful country sounds.

“Having previously released only original songs, I chose to cover ‘Burn For You’ because it is a beautiful Australian song with heartfelt lyrics. I fell in love with it and being true to my sound, I recorded it as a country song with my signature twang over a blend of banjo, mandolin and fiddle. Being authentic to the emotion in the lyrics, what you hear is my raw voice with no fancy production tricks”. – Lucy Parle.

LUCY PARLE BIOGRAPHY

Few storytellers can distil raw emotion into melody like Lucy Parle. The golden-haired songbird’s authentic take on Country music, pageants wisdom beyond her years.

Like many starry-eyed singers she started small, playing to whoever would listen. Attending school during the week, then frequenting every market, cafĂ©, restaurant – or even pub – that she could on the weekend, the talented 12-year-old was well and truly hustling. “My mum would always be close by and I remember sometimes I would just be playing to her.” Lucy took every opportunity to hone her craft. “Sometimes I would even busk outside Coles while I waited for my mum to do the shopping.”

Her commitment paid dividends. Two years later, the singer-songwriter was crowned the victor of Central Coast Discovered and was accepted into the prestigious Academy of Country Music in Tamworth, where she received mentorship from some of Australia’s brightest and most enduring stars.

The Australian Songwriters Association named her Youth Songwriter of the Year in 2017 and 2020 as well as Folk/Acoustic Songwriter of the Year in 2018. She won the ‘Youth Songwriter’ category at the Tamworth Songwriters Association Award’s in 2019 and 2020, and took out first place in the coveted International Songwriting Competition (ISC), ‘Teen’ category in 2020.

In the space of 4 years Lucy had gone from aspiring musician to bonafide star on the rise. As a standout performer in triple j’s Unearthed High (2020, 2021), Lucy attracted the attention of boutique indie label, Double Drummer and ORiGiN Music Publishing. Joining the label roster, she released her stories to the world; eventually clocking over 1 million streams on DSPs and earning her the moniker, “the Australian Taylor Swift”.

Eventually the market stalls and crowded restaurant corners were traded for vibrantly lit stages and theatres around the country. As opening act for Greta Stanley (2022), Casey Barnes (2022), Ash Grunwald (2023), Alex Lloyd (2023), 1927 (2023), Mahalia Barnes (2024) and The Whitlams (2024), she more than earned her stripes. Experiencing Lucy’s live show is like having a chat with your best friend; relaxed, fun and uninhibited.

Accolades and opportunities came swiftly, but in 2022 the singer-songwriter found herself at a fork in the road. “I took a conscious step back to reflect on the direction my music was heading.” Waving goodbye to her publisher and label in 2023, Lucy returned to her Country roots and began work with multi award winning veteran Australian producer, Rod McCormack (The Wolfe Brothers, Lee Kernaghan, Paul Kelly), whilst collaborating with a host of ace writers in Nashville.

Lucy’s most recent releases, ‘Best of Me’ and ‘Love Yourself Better’, scored playlist recognition on Apple Music and were added on full rotation to Kix Country, iHeart Radio, ABC Country, Australian Country Radio and CMT Australia, among many others. This is no small feat for an up and coming artist.

Lucy’s songwriting is fearless; her voice, self-assured; and her sound, equally authentic and fresh.

Miguel Rios – Joys Of Sin

I met up with Miguel Rios, a very well- known singer/songwriter from Victoria and Martin Sykes a well- known musician from Queensland at a DAG Songwriter’s Retreat. We had such a great time working on this song and it received a standing ovation from fellow songwriters when the boys performed it that night.

Joys Of Sin was inspired by teenage memories of my Father advising my brothers to be aware, that beautiful women they may meet up with in some establishments, are more interested in your money than your company. And to definitely not drink anything you are offered, as you could go to sleep and wake up the next morning, with no money and no memory of what happened to you.
