Brett Kissel – Let Your Horses Run

Stepping out into a powerful new era of music, multi-platinum, 3x JUNO Award winning country entertainer Brett Kissel has released his bold new single “Let Your Horses Run.” An inspiring track filled with a newfound sense intensity “Let Your Horses Run” is now available to Australian Country radio.

“I wrote this song with Jesse Frasure, one of Nashville’s biggest and best hit makers,” shares Kissel. “I love creating with him because I can be fully immersed in the creative experience, and I can be honest and transparent. You can’t write a song about life, advice, encouragement, strength, and courage if you’re not with someone you trust. It took only a few hours to write this one. Everything lined up perfectly.”

Kissel’s latest offering showcases his evolution as a songwriter and performer. With a profound sense of reflection, this track represents a zenith of artistic maturity for Kissel, underscored by what may be his most compelling vocal performance to date.

On the sentiment behind the track, he explains, “It’s really an advice song for anyone ready to take on the next big leap in their life, explaining that you can be a force of nature if you want to be, and you can be unstoppable if you put your mind to something that inspires. Words like ‘bust down the gate’ or ‘you can’t tie an anchor to a freight train’ are all metaphors for life. And to be perfectly honest, I wrote it with my kids in mind. Knowing one day they’ll be teenagers ready to chase their dreams – these are the words and thoughts I would share with them… ‘Let your horses run.'”

Having recently supported Keith Urban, Kissell is gearing up for a busy summer festival season, hitting some of the biggest stages across Canada.

Travis Collins – Different Dreams

Following a massive year in 2023, achieving the highest charting Australian country album of the year with “Any Less Anymore”, Travis Collins is set to charge into 2025 with the release of his 10th studio album. This will coincide with his performance at Australia’s largest country music festival, CMC Rocks, in March 2025.

To celebrate the announce, Travis releases the second single from the new studio album, “Different Dreams”. Recorded with Jared Adlam in his Queensland studio, who also produced Travis’ first single, “Don’t Get Me Started”. The song was penned with Collins and Nashville’s Jason Duke (Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban/LoCash).

As Travis describes the track, “If success is truly defined as setting a goal, and achieving it, then it shouldn’t matter what that dream looks or sounds like to anybody else. For some, it’s being #1 at something – top of the mountain. For others it’s about a steady job, maybe some kids and healthy work-life balance, for others it’s finding happiness within themselves.

Our dream can be as big or small as we want them to be, they don’t need to make sense to anybody else, because after all, it’s ours, and we all have different dreams”.

“There’s a lot of levels of success and happiness between the start and the top, of anything – this song is for all the dreamers who’ve found their dream somewhere in between.”

“Mine aint yours and yours aint mine, but that’s okay, yeah that’s alright
So you do you, and I’ll do me, we all got different dreams”.

A nine-time Golden Guitar Award winner, four-time CMC Award winner, CMA Global Artist of the Year Award recipient, and two-time ARIA & APRA Award nominee, he’s toured alongside US megastars Tim McGraw and Luke Combs and recorded with Nashville’s best. His mix of hands-in-the-air country-rock anthems combined with heartfelt ballads has led to over 40 million streams across his nine albums and thirty-plus singles.

Abbie Ferris – The Last Song

Abbie Ferris, a rising star in the country music scene, is closing out a landmark year with the release of her deeply personal EP, You Don’t Live Here Anymore, out October 18 via Potts Entertainment/MGM.

A small-town girl from Mallala, South Australia, Abbie has navigated a whirlwind year that saw her performing at major festivals like CMA Fest and CMC Rocks QLD, making frequent trips between Australia and Nashville, and writing with some of Nashville’s top songwriters. Amid the career highs, she has been processing the emotional fallout from the end of a seven-year relationship, a journey captured in the EP’s six songs.

Each track reveals a chapter of Abbie’s story: from the raw chemistry of a troubled romance in Shut Up and Kiss Me, to the pursuit of dreams in Bright Lights of Tennessee, and the feel-good confidence of No You Didn’t. The EP also explores themes of healing, with tracks like Guilt Don’t Live Here Anymore, the bold rejection of toxic relationships in That Ain’t You, and finally, the heart wrenching closer The Last Song, which offers a powerful moment of closure.

Reflecting on The Last Song, Abbie says:
“I went through a massive breakup at the end of last year – a seven-year relationship. Almost every song I’ve written since then has been about that – heartbreak, anger, pretending not to care, acting like I was over it… but it was like I was stuck in that moment of heartbreak. When I wrote The Last Song, I’d been in Nashville writing for a few weeks and come up with some songs I loved, but I hadn’t gone deep enough to really deal with all these feelings and move forward. Then this song just poured out and it was like I could finally close the chapter and move on, not with bitterness, and not being beholden to the memory of this person and this relationship. It’s so hard to really draw that line in the sand and start a new era of your life when you’ve been part of a couple for so long, and I hope a lot of people hear themselves in this song and find the strength to move forward.”

All songs on the EP were written in Nashville, including collaborations with fellow Australians Danielle Blakey (Nate Smith) and Troy Kemp (McAlister Kemp). Produced by Michael Carpenter, the EP also features Lainey Wilson’s band member Sav Madigan on fiddle and mandolin. To celebrate the release, Abbie will perform two sets at Groundwater Festival this weekend.

Abbie’s journey from Mallala (population 600) to the international stage has been marked by tireless work and an undeniable passion for country music. Inspired by legends like Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, and Lainey Wilson, she’s carving her own path and is determined to leave a lasting impact.

“I want to take my music as far as I can, showing that a small-town South Australian girl can grow up and touch hearts around the world. My parents taught me to follow my instincts, and every time I connect with people through music-whether in the writing room, the studio, or on stage-it’s like everything else fades away. That’s the feeling I’m always chasing.”
