Hayley Jensen – Dirt Rich

Award winning country-pop act, Hayley Jensen, is set to light up the airwaves once again with her brand-new single ‘Dirt Rich’, an upbeat, feel-good country-pop anthem about the simple things in life that money can’t buy.

Co-written with fellow country-pop act Melanie Dyer and Nolan Wynne (who co-wrote James Johnston’s mega hits ‘Small Town’ and ‘Same Songs’), ‘Dirt Rich’ is a reminder that the best things in life are free, and that true wealth isn’t measured in dollars, but in the richness of community, the beauty in nature, and a life well-lived.

Heart-felt lyrics, paired with the anthemic, foot-stomping production by award-winning duo, MSquared, make ‘Dirt Rich’ a song that resonates deeply, whether you hail from the country or simply appreciate its timeless values.

“Dirt Rich is about growing up and living in the country, where we find treasure in things that others might overlook, and that’s what makes us feel rich. It’s looking up at the beautiful night sky, free from the city lights, and feeling immense gratitude and wonder. It’s being resourceful with what you have and taking pride in the craftsmanship of a job well done, not in the material value. It’s in a moment of crisis, where people come together to help one another without an expectation of something in return. It’s family & a tight night community where everyone has each other’s back. That’s what it means to be ‘Dirt Rich’. It’s worth more than gold & proof that the best things in life are free.” – says Hayley.

‘Dirt Rich’ follows the success of Jensen’s hit singles, ‘Outskirts’ & ‘Stomping Ground’, which have amassed over 1M streams across digital platforms. Both garnered extensive airplay across Australia’s major commercial country radio networks, with ‘Outskirts’ hitting #3 on the CountryTown Official Radio Charts, and both soaring in CMT Australia’s Official Top 30.

Jensen took away 2 x Independent Country Music Awards for ‘Single’ and ‘Video of the Year’ in 2025, and ‘Most Popular Female Artist’in 2024. She was also a Finalist in both the 2022 & 2023 Golden Guitar Awards for ‘Female Artist of the Year’ following the success of her #1 ARIA Country Album, ‘Breakin’ Hearts’.

Hayley first found fame as a Top 4 Finalist on the second season of Australian Idol and later made a ‘chair-turning’ return on The Voice in Team Kylie Minogue. No stranger to the small screen, she also performed ‘True Blue ‘as part of Australia Day Live on ABC.

Known for her powerhouse vocals, Hayley is one of the most exciting live acts in the country. She’s toured extensively with her own headline shows and enjoyed top billing at numerous festivals, including headlining the main stage of Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2023.

Hayley is excited to be the feature artist for PBR Australia in 2025 and will also be hitting the road March – May 2025 to celebrate the release of ‘Dirt Rich’ with a headline tour of NSW & VIC – on sale now.

Shanleigh Rose – We’re Not Friends

Shanleigh Rose – Sings of Heartbreak

And A Not So Friendly Love In Her Latest Single “We’re Not Friends”

In a multiplicity of breakup anthems, Shanleigh Rose’s “We’re Not Friends” makes its mark, capturing the hostile aftermath following the end of a not-so-friendly young love. A little bit country, a little bit pop, and just a touch of livid. ‘We’re Not Friends’ is the catchy reminder you need that your ex is NOT your friend. “Cause friends don’t lie and lead you on.”

Shanleigh Rose is truly establishing herself in the music industry. Her new single, “We’re Not Friends,” will resonate with anyone who has experienced the fallout of a tumultuous relationship. The song explores the emotional landscape of post-breakup hostility,

blending elements of country and pop with a raw and intense edge.

This powerful anthem reminds us that not all relationships need to transition into friendships. With poignant lyrics such as “Cause friends don’t lie and lead you on,” Shanleigh Rose effectively captures the essence of her message with compelling honesty.
“Often, people think they can treat you carelessly and have the audacity to try and call you a friend afterwards. In my case, this someone was an ex. I’ve learnt that self-respect and knowing what’s best for you are so much more important than letting your emotions allow the wrong kind of people to stay in your life.” Mention Shanleigh

The realisation only came after Shanleigh had finished penning the song. It was a hard lesson to learn, but I got a pretty cool song out of it. Shanleigh hopes “We’re Not Friends” will empower others to recognise their self-worth and determine who can call themself a friend.

Clancy Pye – Days Like This

Heartfelt country storyteller Clancy Pye today delivers an emotionally charged new single, ‘Days Like This’ – a deeply personal and moving reflection on love, loss, and the way special milestones can magnify the absence of those we’ve lost.

Penned on the first day of a new school year, ‘Days Like This’ was inspired by a poignant moment she witnessed on social media – a photo of children who had recently lost their father, standing on their front doorstep in their school uniforms. While most families were celebrating the start of a new chapter, Clancy was struck by the heartbreaking reality that for some, these milestones serve as a reminder of the people who are no longer there to share them.

“This song came about as a reflection on real-life loss,”Clancy shares. “It explores how those special days that we associate with being full of joy and happiness can feel very different when the people we love most are no longer here to celebrate them with us.”

Produced by acclaimed country music producer Sean Rudd at The Vault Studios, whose credits include Luke O’Shea and Lyn Bowtell, ‘Days Like This’ was brought to life in the studio with an incredible lineup of musicians, including Clancy’s brother Mickey Pye on guitars and Pete Drummond on drums.

“Bringing this song to life in the studio with Sean, Mickey, and Pete was really special,” Clancy says. “We all shared a similar vision for where we wanted this song to go, and elevating the powerful emotions in the lyrics was at the forefront of our minds. As a songwriter and musician, making people feel something when they hear a song you’ve created is what we’re always striving for.”

Complementing the single is a powerful and raw music video, directed by David Smyth of The Studio Door Creative and filmed inside Emmaville Cottage in Orange, NSW. The video incorporates home video footage from a real-life family who experienced a similar heartbreaking loss – Clancy’s former primary school teacher, who passed away at just 36, leaving behind a wife and two young children.

“We wanted to create something raw, authentic, and emotional,”Clancy explains. “There were so many unplanned yet special moments where lyrics I was singing were being played out on the walls behind me. It felt really special to incorporate his story into the video and pay tribute to him in some small way.”

Raised on a farm in Oberon (NSW) surrounded by a musical family, Clancy grew up with country music in her blood. She cut her teeth playing in bars and has since grown a large and dedicated fanbase drawn to her captivating songs and poignant songwriting.

With half a million streams to date and performances at festivals across Australia and internationally, Clancy Pye is quickly cementing herself as a powerful storyteller in Australian country music. She’s appeared twice as a finalist in the prestigious Toyota Star Maker Grand Final, rocked the Gympie Music Muster, CMC Rocks and CMA Fest (Nashville) and Big Valley Jamboree (Canada) stages as a guitarist for the likes of Mickey Pye and Kaylee Bell, and recently opened a string of shows for Tania Kernaghan and Jason Owen.

With ‘Days Like This’, Clancy Pye delivers a stirring reminder of music’s power to heal, connect, and tell the stories that words alone cannot. With more music on the way and a debut album on the horizon, Clancy Pye is an artist to watch – one whose songs don’t just play – but truly leave a mark.

Sammi Palinkas – What This Woman Wants

Rising Australian country star Sammi Palinkas is set to make a bold statement with her latest single, “What This Woman Wants”, a high-energy anthem about knowing your worth and refusing to settle for anything less than you deserve. The track, written with award-winning Australian country producer Rod McCormack (Lee Kernaghan, The Wolfe Brothers, Paul Kelly) and Emmy-nominated Nashville songwriter Joie Scott (Shania Twain, Colin Raye, Anne Murray), channels the strength and spirit of modern womanhood with a fiery, unapologetic sound.

Inspired by the dynamic energy of Shania Twain’s “Any Man of Mine” and the fearless fun of “Best Worst Ex” by Alexandra Kay and Julia Cole, “What This Woman Wants” delivers an empowering message wrapped in vibrant, contemporary country production. A standout lyric from the chorus, “If you can’t bring the heat, then get out of the kitchen,” playfully reclaims a traditional image of women as homemakers, flipping the narrative to reflect today’s expectations for balance, respect, and equality in relationships.

The single is the first taste of Palinkas’ forthcoming debut album, “No Settlin’,” a 15-track project set for release in mid-2025. Reflecting on the past five years of her life and career, the album tells stories of resilience, love, and personal growth. “What This Woman Wants” has been intentionally timed for release ahead of International Women’s Day 2025, kicking off a steady rollout of new music every 4-6 weeks leading up to the album release, with additional tracks extending into a deluxe edition through the end of the year.

Accompanying the single is a visually striking music video directed by long-time collaborator Bonnie Jarrett of BonnCreative. Filmed at Co.Bake Studios in Melbourne, the video takes an unexpected turn, placing Palinkas as a cooking show host who finds herself in a wildly entertaining plot twist-accidentally eliminating her overconfident co-host. “Bonnie and I had so much fun bringing this crazy storyline to life. Early last year, people kept telling me I looked like Western Barbie, so I decided to have some fun with that in the visual campaign for my album. In my determination not to become just another blonde country singer, we took that colorful persona and blended it with sharp, playful commentary on women in the industry.”

Palinkas has already made an undeniable impact on Australia’s country music scene. Her debut country single “Meet in the Middle” debuted at #3 on the Australian iTunes Country chart and #8 across All Genres. Subsequent hits, including “You’ve Lived,” “Don’t Blink,” and “Let Your Hair Down,” have all secured Top 10 positions, solidifying her status as one of the brightest rising stars in the genre.

From winning a national singing competition at just eight years old to performing at major events like the VFLW Grand Final, Palinkas has dedicated her life to music. Her journey has taken her around the world, collaborating with top songwriters in Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville. Recognised by prestigious organisations like NSAI and the International Songwriting Competition, her talent and determination continue to set her apart.

“What This Woman Wants” will be available on all streaming platforms soon. Stay tuned for more music and tour announcements as Sammi Palinkas continues to carve her path in country music.

Sons Of Atticus – Tennessee Tipsy

Written by Sons of Atticus members Dylan Wright and Matthew Joyce, “Tennessee Tipsy” is a playful, high-energy song that brings humor and charm to the classic country storytelling tradition. Featuring the unforgettable pickup line, “Are you from Tennessee? Cause you’re the only ten I see,” the track is sure to get listeners dancing and singing along.

“This song came about in a joking way,” says Dylan Wright. “We were writing one day and thought, wouldn’t it be funny to have a pickup line in a song? It’s a bit cheesy, but it’s fun and catchy. There are a lot of songs with similar themes, and this kind of plays on those in a light-hearted way.”

Sons of Atticus have been making waves in the country music scene since their debut in 2021, earning a dedicated fanbase with their electrifying performances and authentic songwriting. Their momentum skyrocketed in 2024 when Dylan Wright won Australian Idol, further cementing their place as one of country music’s most exciting new acts.
