Cali Tucker – Last Name

Award Winning Country Artist Cali Tucker’s single Last Name drops July 18, 2025

Cali Tucker, the award-winning country artist with a lineage steeped in Nashville tradition is back with her new single, Last Name. The single drops on all digital platforms and radio stations worldwide on July 18th. Last Name is more than just a song-it marks a bold chapter in Tucker’s artistic journey. Building on the momentum of her acclaimed singles and music videos Country Couture and Urban Cowboy, Last Name isn’t about carrying the weight of a famous family name, it’s about something deeper. Co-written by Cali Tucker alongside Derek Robertson, Tricia Battani, and Grammy-nominated G’harah “PK” Degeddingseze, this track explores the raw vulnerability of forging your own path without the safety net of family support. It’s a story of chasing dreams with relentless determination, learning to advocate for yourself in the face of loneliness, and achieving success on your own terms.

Cali shares, “I want people to know – whoever you want to be, whatever you want to do, it’s within your reach.”

Though Cali is grateful for her circle of family and friends, she is deeply aware that not everyone has that same privilege. Through Last Name, her powerful, soul-stirring vocals deliver this message with authenticity and heart – making it a true anthem for everyone fighting to be seen, heard, and valued.

As the daughter of 1970s hitmaker LaCosta Tucker and niece of the legendary Tanya Tucker, Cali embraces her family’s musical legacy while infusing it with a modern twist that resonates with today’s audience. From winning the Miss Teen All-American title to gracing the Grand Ole Opry stage and headlining top Las Vegas venues, she has steadily built a career defined by artistry and resilience. Her time as a finalist on NBC’s The Voice-mentored by Blake Shelton-launched her into the national spotlight, setting the stage for her continued success.

Over the past year, Cali’s original music has amassed millions of streams across Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube while receiving airplay worldwide. People Magazine praised her as “a blend of sweet and sassy… addictive.” She performed the National Anthem for NASCAR’s Pennzoil 400 before a crowd of 80,000 racing fans and a televised audience of over three million. Meanwhile, her music videos- Country Couture and Urban Cowboy-have swept film festivals, earning multiple Best Music Video and Best Song awards. On June 28th, she makes her debut at Aliante Casino’s Access Showroom in Las Vegas and on July 19th, she’ll take the stage alongside her iconic aunt for a special double-billed performance at Spirit Mountain Casino in Oregon.

With Last Name, Cali Tucker continues to prove that her name is one people will be talking about for years to come.

Max McNown – Forever Ain’t Long Enough

MAX MCNOWN RELEASES STIRRING NEW SINGLE “FOREVER AIN’T LONG ENOUGH” AHEAD OF DELUXE DROP OF ACCLAIMED ALBUM ‘NIGHT DIVING (THE COST OF GROWING UP)’

Rising singer-songwriter Max McNown continues to carve a path uniquely his own with the release of his latest single, “Forever Ain’t Long Enough”, out now via Fugitive Recordings/The Orchard/Columbia Records. The track is the lead offering from the upcoming deluxe edition of his celebrated sophomore album, ‘Night Diving (The Cost of Growing Up)’, out today.

A heartfelt and cinematic love song, “Forever Ain’t Long Enough” channels McNown’s signature blend of introspective lyricism and anthemic storytelling. Produced by Jamie Kenney (Colbie Caillat, Laci Kaye Booth), the single paints a picture of eternal love lived out in snapshots across the American landscape – from Catalina coastlines and Santa Fe backroads to the rain-kissed streets of Colorado and the stars above Patagonia.

“I could say forever, but forever ain’t long enough,” McNown sings in the soaring chorus, capturing the spirit of young love and limitless devotion. Reflecting on the song’s inspiration, he explains, “Some romances make you wish you could spend more than a fleeting lifetime within them, and that is the basis for ‘Forever Ain’t Long Enough.'”

The single arrives as McNown’s breakout year reaches new heights. At just 23, the Oregon-born artist has already earned an RIAA Gold certification, a Billboard Hot 100 entry, and a Top 10 Hot AC hit with his breakthrough track “A Lot More Free”. His heartfelt anthem “Better Me For You (Brown Eyes)” has surpassed 130 million streams, reached #2 on Australia’s CountrytownTop 50 Country Airplay Chart, and continues to surge at Country radio-propelling him even further into the national and international spotlight.

Following a meteoric rise from busking on Southern California piers to topping Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart, McNown’s journey remains rooted in authenticity. His soulful voice and deeply personal storytelling continue to resonate with fans, including his 2.4 million TikTok followers.

The release of “Forever Ain’t Long Enough” also ushers in the next chapter of McNown’s whirlwind year.

In May, Max completed his first-ever Australian tour with sold-out shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, winning over new international fans with his heartfelt performances. Just weeks later, he took the stage at Countryfest Queensland cementing his global appeal with a standout set that lit up the festival crowd.

Back in the U.S., Max continues to build momentum with standout performances at The Grand Ole Opry and the upcoming Lollapalooza Festival, ahead of his highly anticipated “Forever Ain’t Long Enough” North American headline tour, launching August 21 in Kansas City.. The tour will be making stops in Austin at Emo’s on August 27th, Los Angeles at The Novo on September 6th, and at 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. on September 8th – see full dates below and visit maxmcnown.com/tour for tickets and more information

Reflecting on the upcoming deluxe album, McNown shared; “Even though Night Diving was the length of a full album, in my heart it never felt complete to me. These songs were all born from the same time in my life-they belong together.”

The deluxe edition of ‘Night Diving (The Cost of Growing Up)’ introduces 11 new tracks, including a moving reinterpretation of the title song – a poignant reflection on the cycles of addiction. This new version features a stirring guest verse from rising country-folk artist Cameron Whitcomb and marks a powerful milestone in the journey of a prolific young songwriter deeply rooted in his craft.

Even as his star continues to rise, McNown remains grounded in his small-town spirit – led by humility, heart, and an unwavering commitment to authentic storytelling. With every song, he furthers his mission to create music that helps listeners feel seen, heard, and understood.

As accolades pour in-including recognition as a 2025 Artist to Watch by Amazon Music, Holler, and Country Now-Max McNown remains grounded in the simple joys that fuel his artistry: community, connection, and the enduring power of honest songwriting.

A true bush balladeer with a voice full of grit and heart, Victoria blends classic country with honest storytelling shaped by life in the outback. When she’s not running her community café The Hungry Pug, she’s writing songs about small towns, red dirt roads, and the people who live there. With a string of singles rolling out in 2025 and her debut album North of the Range on the horizon, Victoria is carving out a space in Australian country music – one dust-covered tale at a time.

The Reklaws – Never Drinking Again

THE REKLAWS DELIVER FEEL-GOOD SUMMER ANTHEM “NEVER DRINKING AGAIN”

Raise a solo cup to the anthem heard across the country every weekend – multi-double-PLATINUM sibling duo The Reklaws are back to toast the summer with their latest single, “Never Drinking Again”, a tongue-in-cheek, high-energy track that captures the all-too-familiar post-party promise we’ve all made… and broken.”

Launching an exciting new era for the chart-topping pair, “Never Drinking Again” sees The Reklaws leaning back into the infectious, light-hearted spirit that first rocketed them to national fame.

“Started with one / Turned to two / Three sheets to the wind…” – the track explodes with relatability, blending singalong hooks and clever lyrical turns that nod to the universal truth of late nights and empty promises.

“It’s been a wild few years of writing and putting out music that we needed to share, so we weren’t entirely sure what was going to come out of us as we sat in writing rooms over the past few months – but the fun songs just started pouring out,” shared Stuart Walker. “We’re so excited to finally share new tunes and dedicate a summer to having more fun than ever before”.

After spending the past few months deep in writing mode, The Reklaws are emerging with music that feels true to the songs that made them a household name across the nation. With plans for their biggest live show yet and more new music on the horizon, The Reklaws are turning up the volume – literally and figuratively – and making it clear they’re heading straight back to their weekend-loving, glass-raising roots.

ABOUT THE REKLAWS:

The Reklaws are a one-of-a-kind duo made up of siblings Jenna and Stuart Walker and are one of Canadian country’s most decorated and beloved acts. From their breakout hit “Long Live the Night”, which became the CFL’s official theme in 2018/19, to their viral smash “What the Truck” with SACHA (the fastest Canadian country single to go PLATINUM in the streaming era), the duo have consistently pushed boundaries.

Their music resonates well beyond Canada’s borders – with “Honky Talkin’ About” (feat. Drake Milligan) not only hitting #1 at Canadian radio, but also breaking into Australia’s Countrytown Top 50 Country Airplay Chart at #10. Their single “One Beer Away” also made waves, reaching #20 on the same chart, signalling a growing fanbase down under.

In 2023, The Reklaws earned three JUNO nominations (TikTok Fan’s Choice, Group or Duo of the Year, and Country Album of the Year), hosted the CCMA Awards, and won Top Selling Canadian Album for their 2022 release Good Ol’ Days.

With 8 JUNO nominations, 8 CCMA Awards, 4 #1 hits, 2 DOUBLE PLATINUM, 8 PLATINUM, and 13 GOLD singles – plus 300M+ global streams and five of the top 20 streamed singles by a Canadian country act since 2019 – The Reklaws continue to redefine what it means to be modern country stars. Their debut album Freshman Year remains the most domestically streamed debut album in Canadian country history.

The Wolfe Brothers feat. Zac & George – How Many One More Times

AUSTRALIA’S MOST SUCCESSFUL COUNTRY DUO ANNOUNCE THEIR NEW ALBUM, ‘AUSTRALIAN MADE’, COMING AUGUST 29. THEIR NEW SINGLE WITH ZAC & GEORGE RELEASED TODAY

With 10 x Golden Guitars under their belt and a further 2 x Countrytown Awards, The Wolfe Brothers, announce their 7th studio album, Australian Made. Produced by Nick Wolfe and Rod McCormack, the album features collaborations with Kaylee Bell, Lee Kernaghan and the new single released with Zac & George.

Thematically, Tom talks about the album, “If you know anything about Nick and I, you will know that we are very proud to be Australian. There was a time a few years back where Nick and I were going to move over to America. We had everything lined up including a major US recording deal – we were all set and ready to call another country home. The only problem was that’s not our home. This is our home, our friends are here, our family is here and the stories we want to celebrate are about Australia in all its diversity.

It’s the right time for Australian Made. There is currently a huge country music boom happening here in Australia and worldwide, which we think is absolutely fantastic. We wanna raise our hands up and be that Australian voice for the next generation and do it in our way. The best things in life are Australian Made.”

To coincide with the announce of the album, The Wolfe Brothers drop their new single with Zac & George, How Many One More Times. As Nick describes the new single, “We’re really proud to be releasing our new single, “How Many One More Times,” because it comes from a place that feels real, honest, and close to the heart. We’ve all been guilty of saying, ‘Yeah, I’ll catch up with them next time’ or ‘I’ll make that call tomorrow’. But life has a way of reminding you that nothing’s guaranteed. This song is our little reminder to ourselves – and hopefully to everyone who hears it – to make today count. To call that friend. To have that drink. To say what you need to say. The truth is, you never really

know when those “one more times” are going to run out. And that’s what this song is about – appreciating the moment you’re in right now, because it could be the last time you get to.”

From Zac & George, “If you told 20-year-old Zac & George they would be in a writing room in the next 5 years with the Wolfe Brothers, they would have asked you to repeat the statement. Then they would have said to themselves ‘we’re gonna write a banger with the Wolfies’. Walking into the writing room, we were all thinking the same thing – an upbeat, country radio bop. However, the mood took a slight turn and headed into a very vulnerable place. We quickly began talking about life, taking chances in our careers, and spending time with loved ones. The phrase “how many one more times” was said and from there the song pretty much wrote itself. We are so pumped to be putting out a song with our idols, and now also good mates, this July. Who knows, we may just have to do this another “one more time”

Announced as Ambassadors for the Gympie Muster 2025, The Wolfe Brothers will launch their album at the festival.

Cody Walker – Six String Shooter

‘Six String Shooter’, Cody Walker’s second single to be released in as many months.
Cody follows up his debut single with an equally deep dive into the themes of life’s darker corners, mental health, pain, purpose and the story telling of the calm in the chaos.

An instrument that now looking back was wielded as a defensive weapon, ‘Six String Shooter’ speaks for itself, again blending a powerful, gritty voice, with soul soaked lyrics and distorted guitars, it challenges the idealism of what we are to do, when the devil on the left and the angel on the right, argue over that crossroads we are standing at.

Imogen Clark – Choking on Fuel

Imogen Clark’s new album ‘Choking on Fuel’ is already kicking her 2025 into high gear. The last few weeks have seen Imogen return to the UK for a sold-out headline tour and performance at Maverick festival, and land on the lineup of this year’s AMERICANAFEST in Nashville (alongside artists like Kashus Culpepper, Kip Moore, Jade Bird, Rodney Crowell and Ruston Kelly). The reviews continue to glow, take a gander…

Thanks to all of you out there at radio that have been supporting the record, spinning the songs far and wide around the globe and bringing Imogen’s infectious, heartfelt songwriting to music lovers everywhere…

Nashville-via-Sydney singer-songwriter Imogen Clark is getting high octane and back to the nitty gritty with her new album ‘Choking on Fuel’. After a breakneck year of non-stop touring, returning to her roots armed with an acoustic guitar, Imogen is rolling out a record that captures the intensity, vulnerability, musical dexterity and vocal power that characterizes her compelling live performances.

“I spent last year on the road around the world, playing headline shows but also touring with Robyn Hitchcock, Steve Poltz, BOWEN * YOUNG and Andrew Farriss”, Imogen explains. “So many people have messaged me or commented on my social media to say that they would love to have an album that captured the spirit of what I do live, and that’s what this is”.

The album puts Imogen’s rich, devastating vocals front and center, foregrounding her deft, cutting lyrics and affecting melodies. The record runs the emotional gamut from the wry, incendiary All Hard Feelings (with 70s style backing vocals from co-writers Sinead Burgess and Blake O’Connor, who also tears up a blistering slide guitar solo), a high-octane harmonica solo on The Art of Getting Through from the legendary Mickey Raphael, the sexy bluegrass raveup of Sebastian (where Imogen is backed by Aussie grassers Midnight Chicken) to the raw, powerful anthem The Last of Me (with My Morning Jacket’s Bo Koster on propulsive piano), the road not taken nightmare of Squinters (a co-write with Steve Poltz powered by Bryan Sutton’s nuanced acoustic guitar), a fiery Nebraska-esque anthem If I Want In (featuring ARIA-winner Ella Hooper) to the delicate, timeless wisdom of If Your Heart Never Breaks (featuring gorgeous harmonies from co-writer Jim Lauderdale and a dexterous and beautiful guitar from the iconic Tommy Emmanuel).

An unexpected closing note comes with a radical reinterpretation of the classic Sheryl Crow / Jeff Trott anthem ‘If It Makes You Happy’, reimagined as a vulnerable duet with Imogen’s tourmate and Americana UK Live Act of the Year Kezia Gill. Aussie fans will expect to see it on the setlist when Imogen and Kezia head down under for a co-headline tour in October.

“I’ve gotten to know and write with Jeff Trott since I’ve been living in Nashville,” Imogen explains. “After hearing him explain how he began writing this song late one night on the piano, it sparked the idea of approaching the song from that point of view. Having Kez sing it with me added so much extra magic to this version of one of my all-time favorite songs”.

Mack & Cook – Time Goes By

Mack & Cook Release New Country-Soul Single ‘Time Goes By’

Acclaimed duo Murray Cook (OG Red Wiggle) and his musical accomplice, Lizzie Mack – as Mack & Cook – are set to release a new single, ‘Time Goes By’.

A relaxing slow-burn country-soul track that reflects on the winding roads we wander in our lives. With warm acoustic textures and heartfelt instrumentation, the song captures the beauty of learning through experience, embracing life’s lessons with grace, and trusting in the road ahead.

Haven ridden many roads, and planes together – as the Red Wiggle and Soul Moving team of the past four albums and ten years playing some of Australia’s most-loved festivals, Murray and Lizzie brings the track to life with a generous finesse – layering guitar, mandolin, and bass with an expert touch. Paired with Lizzie Mack’s warm and evocative vocals and lyrical presence, the result is a moving, genre-blurring sound that fans have already come to love in recent live shows.

“Like a good glass of red, you’re bound to savour every magical minute,” fans at Murray’s local, The Gasoline Pony, were agreeing last Saturday afternoon – in awe of the full, transportative sound Mack & Cook have created.

Having dabbled on the fringes of country-soul and Americana in so many on the song collaborations recorded with The Swampers (at Muscle Shoals Sound, Alabama) and at Jimmy Nuts “Nut House” (Florence, Alabama – playing with Kelvin Holly – Little Richard’s guitarist of the past 15 years) on songs like ‘Burned Out’, ‘Start All Over Again’ and ‘You Say That You’re Leaving’ this time the duo set out to “put the Australian in Americana – as a Nannup Music Festival programmer happily stated on first hearing ‘Time Goes By’.

Excited to be collecting the “Best of the B Sides” and retracing some of the touring routes of country legends such as Slim Dusty, Murray and Lizzie plan to take their music to country fans sharing a brand-new track and music video to launch ‘Time Goes By’ down the East Coast, which captures the essence of timelessness and looking to the future, no matter which leg of life’s journey you are on.

Quotes:

“These are our stories, the most satisfying part of our lives over the last decade has been sharing them with folks who are up for a listen and to enjoy feeling that connection between our hearts, minds and souls. Playing multiple instruments and contribute musical ideas in more sophisticated musical ways has been deeply rewarding. At this age and stage, we are reaching for some kind of musical mastery or completion – and I really feel I’m finding that now in the music Lizzie and I are making.” Murray Cook

“Now having played their first handful of shows – and with more on the horizon – Mack & Cook have just released their first single ‘Time Goes By’, a classic-sounding country-soul number with Mack’s ultra-expressive vocals offering a soothingly existential treatise on life’s journey “I said to someone just the other day, it’s good that we’re all getting old at the same rate,” Lizzie Mack chuckles. “We’re really proud of this as our first recorded song… Time waits for no acoustic duo – so off we go – it’s time to hit the road!”.
