Releasing his first solo single in almost 15 years, Mike Carr really needs no introduction to those Aus Country fans in ‘the know’.
Mike is an Australian Country songwriter right out of the top drawer having penned big hit songs for Adam Brand, Adam Harvey, Amber Lawrence and Melinda Schneider to name but a few.
As one half of the Golden Guitar nominated duo Cornell & Carr Mike has gathered many accolades and recently notched up the duo’s biggest hit to date with the outrageous Top Ten hit song ‘Whatchawanna’.
Following the hit, both Mikey and Matty decided it was time for the lifelong friends to take a creative ‘Gap Year’ in order to release their own musical labours of love.
In Mike’s case, it has resulted in the beautifully ludicrous single ‘Haircut’, a wonderfully catchy instant classic that claims the pathway to happiness may well begin with a short back and sides. (No really!)
