Multi-DOUBLE PLATINUM duo The Reklaws are celebrating a monumental few weeks after making their U.S. network debut, releasing their new single “One Beer Away”. Sure to become this summer’s biggest anthem, the new track showcases the award-winning duo’s evolution while staying true to the country character that has, and always will be, their foundation.
“We have a ton of new music we’re really excited about, but ‘One Beer Away’ felt like the perfect song to share right now,” said Jenna Walker. “It takes us back to ‘Long Live the Night’ every time we listen to it, capturing the essence of the perfect summer night in your small town.”
“We wanted to release a true Reklaws song,” Stuart Walker added. “This year will see some different music that Jenna and I are really proud of, but we will always stay true to our roots with songs like this.”
Written by Jenna, Stuart, Callum Maudsley and Scott Helman, the new single is a nod to the electric, carefree moments that country music fans cherish. With its catchy chorus and upbeat tempo, “One Beer Away” is set to become a staple at parties, tailgates, and country music festivals across the nation.
In addition to the release, earlier in June the duo stepped onto a global stage, performing “People Don’t Talk About” on America’s Got Talent. The emotional and deeply personal performance earned four enthusiastic ‘YES’ from judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.
Never ones to slow down, the award-winning duo have been hard at work, creating a collection of new music that reflects their growth as artists. Fans hoping to get a sneak peek of what’s to come are encouraged to catch the pair this summer at shows and festivals across the country including Pretty Excellent Country Music Festival in PEC this year and already announced stops at Big Valley Jamboree, Sunfest Country Music Festival, Country Thunder Alberta, Lucknow Music in the Fields as well as back-to-back nights at the Jackson Triggs Amphitheatre and Kee to Bala, among many more. The pair were also recently announced as performers for the 2024 CCMA Awards in Edmonton, AB this Fall.
