Current Golden Guitar Winner for Female Artist of The Year and Single Of The Year (A Little More Country); Max Jackson now has 3 x Golden Guitars to her name after also securing the Winner of Best New Talent in 2024. Now Max Jackson releases her brand new single, A COUNTRY HEART CAN; the song having its debut performance on Channel 7’s Farmer Wants A Wife.
As Max describes the new single, ” I come from a long line of deep rooted love, love with grit, love that has survived the toughest of days on the land and still woken up with excitement for every sunrise and what it will bring. Learning from my grandparents, parent, those I grew up around and now from my own relationship, I wanted to write a country love song that was less about the diamonds, gold, flowers and superficial things and more about the kind that get’s its hands dirty building a life.
When I was asked to perform on the 2025 season of Farmer Wants A Wife, it felt like the perfect time to bring out this song idea that had been begging to be written for a long time. So one night knowing that I didn’t have time to bring in co-writers, I pulled out an old acoustic guitar and poured by heart into this one.. and, it just flowed.
A COUNTRY HEART CAN has quickly become my favourite song that I’ve ever written and I hope that it helps a lot more people out there, put the love they have for their partner into words.”
A COUNTRY HEART CAN was penned by Max and produced by Rod McCormack. Following on from the single release, Max Jackson heads off to Nashville to perform at their illustrious CMA FEST. Standby for news on more tour dates
