Will Day – Red Dirt Church

Celebrated country artist Will Day is set to reveal his latest single, “Red Dirt Church”, a powerful and nostalgic anthem dedicated to rural Australia. Co-written with acclaimed songwriters Tom Wolfe and Jared Adlam, the track reflects on the simple joys of childhood and the strong values shaped by growing up in the bush and being raised in the best country on earth.

“Red Dirt Church is a heartfelt nod to the freedom, resilience, and pride that comes with being raised in regional Australia,” says Will. “It’s about where I come from – and where so many Aussies find their roots.”

This release follows a string of standout singles over the past few years including the chart-topping “Countrified”, the emotional “Dear Dad” , and crowd favourites “Always A Girl,” “The Way We Are,” “Set Your Sights”, “Find Myself A Dirt Road”, and the high-energy country rock anthem “My Kinda Crowd”.

Will Day has rapidly cemented his place in the Australian country music landscape with appearances at some of the nation’s most iconic festivals, including Tamworth Country Music Festival, Groundwater Country Music Festival, Deni Ute Muster, Savannah in the Round, and Gympie Music Muster.

Recognised for his genuine storytelling, compelling vocals, and electric stage presence, Will continues to captivate audiences across the country. He was recently named a finalist in the Nashville based International Songwriting Competition for “Find Myself A Dirt Road,”underscoring his songwriting prowess on a global stage.

Having just returned from Nashville, Will is currently writing for his highly anticipated second album, set to further showcase his growth and artistry.

Will Day is set to bring his signature country energy to three of Queensland’s most iconic music festivals in the second half of 2025 – Gympie Music Muster in August, Savannah in the Round in October and RegFest’s Roma Country Music Festival in November.

Will Day’s new single “Red Dirt Church” is out to radio on Monday 11th August and digital services on Friday 15th August.
