Denvah – Better Weather

Following a breakthrough few years that has seen her recognised as one of Australian country music’s most exciting new voices,  Denvah  today announces her signing to  EMI Music Australia alongside the release of her uplifting new single,  ‘Better Weather’  – the first taste of her forthcoming debut album, set for release in 2027.
Written solely by Denvah and produced by  Jared Adlam (James Johnston, Mack Geiger, Morgan Evans) at Machine Lab Recording in Mount Tamborine, QLD, ‘ Better Weather’ is a heartfelt reflection on the unexpected moments that often become the most memorable.
Inspired by a rain-soaked first date, ‘ Better Weather’ finds Denvah turning an everyday moment into an uplifting reflection on new love and life’s happy surprises. The track showcases the conversational songwriting and melodic instinct that have become her calling card, drawing on influences from Ed Sheeran, Maisie Peters and Noah Kahan while carving out a voice that’s unmistakably her own.
“I was only one date in and had already written a whole song. Just goes to show a girl can have a lot to say when it rains on a first date and she’s a little bit smitten,”  says Denvah.

Better Weather  marks the beginning of an exciting new partnership with  EMI Music Australia and sets the stage for Denvah’s highly anticipated debut album, due in 2027. Continuing a breakout year, Denvah will perform at the  Gympie Music Muster on 27 August before taking the stage at  BIGSOUND in September, The Bend Classic in Tailem Bend, South Australia on 3 October, and  Groundwater Country Music Festival in the Gold Coast on 16-18 October.
