In the last year Justin Sutto was nominated for the 2024 Roots Artist of the Year at the Country Music Alberta Awards and has had the chance to share the stage with Emerson Drive, The Road Hammers , Gary Allan , Bobby Wills, James Barker Band and Steven Lee Olsen. He has played countless rodeos, fairs and festivals this summer with his band Justin Sutton & North of 49!
Sutton’s latest release, “Nothing But Time ,” is his take on the timeless country sound. With its “a few chords and the truth” approach, the song embraces what has drawn lifelong fans to the genre.
Produced by the acclaimed Bart McKay (Gord Bamford , Brett Kissel , Shane Yellowbird ) and featuring the virtuoso fiddler Jenee Fleenor (Cody Johnson , Reba , Jon Pardi , Blake Shelton ) and pedal steel licks from Mike Smith (Jason Aldean , Hank Williams Jr ., Jerry Reed ), “Nothing But Time” captures the genuine spirit of classic country.
And while George Strait has yet to hear it, “Nothing But Time” holds the potential to become his 61st hit.
