UNIFIED Artist Management has signed acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Sarah Grace Buckley, marking a defining new chapter in the career of one of Australian country music’s most formidable young voices. The announcement coincides with the launch of Buckley’s debut solo project: a bold step forward for the powerhouse performer and songwriter whose career has already delivered a #1 Australian country radio single, a string of top-10 cuts recorded by other artists, and more than a decade touring internationally with The Buckleys. Buckley will be managed by Matt Walters out of UNIFIED’s Melbourne office, joining a celebrated roster that includes Vance Joy, Wade Forster and Ocean Alley. Her debut solo project, produced across Nashville and Sydney, marks the next chapter. The first single, ‘Tequila & Mexico’, was written and recorded in Nashville with hitmakers Troy Verges (Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Luke Bryan) and Matt McVaney (Kane Brown, Jessie James Decker, Lauren Alaina), who also produced the track. It arrives July 29 via Community Music.Described by Rolling Stone as “a masterclass in songwriting,” Sarah Grace already has a reputation as one of the sharpest songwriters in Australian country music, a nominee for Songwriter of the Year at last year’s CMAA Achiever Awards and a four-time Golden Guitar nominee. She is now establishing a solo identity entirely her own.Matt Walters, Artist Manager at UNIFIED, added: “Sarah is one of those rare artists who can write a song that lives in your head for years and then walk on stage and own the room. Watching her step out as a solo artist has been one of the most exciting things I’ve been part of. The music she’s made is honest, sharp, and unmistakably hers, and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”This new chapter sees the continuation of her relationship with Raechel Whitchurch at Sure Thing Agency, who describes Sarah Grace as “one of those rare artists in the industry who has it all. She’s an incredible songwriter, exceptional vocalist and musician, and I couldn’t be more excited to see her step out on her own.”The news arrives alongside Sarah Grace’s just-announced return to the Tamworth Country Music Festival, where she will be co-headlining Toyota presents: Girls Night Out at Bicentennial Park on Saturday 16 January 2027. Peter Ross, Executive Producer of the Tamworth Country Music Festival and Golden Guitar Awards, added: “Sarah Grace Buckley has been part of the Tamworth Country Music Festival story for many years through the remarkable journey of The Buckleys, captivating audiences with her talent, professionalism and unmistakable stage presence. It has been a privilege to watch her grow as an artist and performer. I am thrilled to see Sarah embarking on this exciting new chapter as a solo artist. Her artistry, authenticity and creative vision position her perfectly for this next stage of her career, and I have no doubt she will continue to make a significant contribution to Australian country music. We are incredibly proud to have witnessed part of her journey in Tamworth and look forward to following her continued success.”
“I have been so blessed over the past fourteen years in the music industry, and this truly is a huge personal step for me. As a songwriter, I am just so excited for the opportunity to share my story in an entirely new way that I haven’t done before, in a way that is entirely me.”- Sarah Grace Buckley
