We might do things a little differently out here, but that sense of community, looking out for each other and appreciating what we have got is pretty special.”The single will be supported by a new official music video filmed by Global HQ, bringing the people, landscapes, animals and country lifestyle behind the song to the screen.THE SONG TAKES TO THE ROADJust weeks after the single’s release, Curtain and the Katherine Outback Experience team will load the horses, working dogs and music gear and hit the highway for the Country Boys, Cowgirls & Horses Tour.Kicking off in Kununurra, Western Australia, on Tuesday 29 September, the tour will travel south through WA before crossing the Nullarbor in the new year and continuing east towards the 2027 Tamworth Country Music Festival. It will mark Curtain’s 11th consecutive national tour.”The song really sums up what our life on the road is all about,” Curtain said. “We pull into these towns with a truckload of horses and dogs, put on a show, play country music and get to meet families from right across the region. Some of our favourite shows are in the smaller communities where people travel a couple of hours to get there. You will have little kids sitting beside their grandparents, everyone having a laugh and getting involved. That is country community, and that is exactly what this song is about.”Unlike a traditional country music concert, the touring show combines live music with the signature animal demonstrations and family entertainment born from Curtain’s award-winning Katherine Outback Experience. It features working dog demonstrations with children from the audience getting involved, horse liberty, Tom performing from horseback, crowd interaction, dancing, the much-loved sack race and plenty of laughs.Long-time touring mate and acclaimed WA singer-songwriter Chris Matthews will return for the Western Australian leg, together with some fresh faces including Zara Lindeman, Courtney Rose and Josh Beveridge.
