Will Day Unveils His Latest Anthemic Single ‘Find Myself A Dirt Road’ And Announces Performance At Deni Ute Muster.
Country powerhouse singer-songwriter Will Day unveils a new single ‘Find Myself A Dirt Road’, a track that’s bound to become a radio favourite and a welcome addition to country music playlists. Co-written with his producer Jared Adlam, the song sits close to Will’s authentic country rock roots whilst utilising modern country production techniques. The chorus hits you like a wall of sound in this catchy break up song.
“I haven’t released a breakup song before, so it’s something new! My producer, Jared Adlam and I wrote this, and I love the imagery it creates in the sense of having to go and find yourself, which sometimes we all have to do. I’m really excited about what Jared has done with the production of this track. It’s still true to my country rock roots but I love how the chorus just opens up and hits you, it’s quite emotive. We also had fun utilising some cool ‘modern’ sounds.”
The last 5 years have been career defining for Will as he carves a path in the country music scene, emerging as an authentic force that modern fans crave. From songs that are endearing with heart-gripping lyrics that draw raw emotion to high energy toe-tapping country rock, Will has the creative ability to produce music that stands the test of time. Always a crowd favourite, performing at iconic events such as Tamworth Country Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Texas (QLD) Country Music Festival and Groundwater Country Music Festival to performances at rodeos including Winton’s Way Out Fest and sold out Brisbane shows including his Christmas Cruise, two consecutive years has ensured continued popularity.
A radio favourite gaining airplay on major stations KIX Country, ABC Country, Triple A Murri, Australian Country Radio and iHeart Country as well as adds on Spotify curated playlists including Fresh Country, Fresh Country Finds, New Music Friday and Apple Music’s Aussie Country and 5th Gear across multiple singles, have cemented further success.
2024 will showcase Will’s talent even further with his love of live touring, which includes the new announcement of a performance at Deni Ute Muster on Saturday 5th October. A favourite festival amongst the country music community will showcase a stellar lineup this year including Kip Moore (USA), Tyler Hubbard (USA), Amy Shark, John Williamson, Amber Lawrence, Brad Cox, Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley Darlinghurst and more.
